III. Human rights in Somaliland
ثالثاً - حقوق الإنسان في صوماليلند

38. The independent expert told President Silanyo, inter alia, that the international community had high hopes that Somaliland would set an example of good governance for the region which would be based on principles of human rights and respect for the human person.
38- وأبلغ الخبير المستقل الرئيس سيلانيو بجملة أمور منها أن المجتمع الدولي لديه آمال كبار في أن تضرب صوماليلند المثل للإدارة الرشيدة في المنطقة، التي تستند إلى مبادئ حقوق الإنسان واحترام شخص الإنسان.

The new President of Somaliland has promised full support to the peace process in Somalia and the President of Puntland has expressed his willingness to work together with TFG on basis of the agreement recently signed between him and the Prime Minister of TFG.
وقد وعد رئيس صوماليلند الجديد بتقديم الدعم الكامل إلى عملية السلام في الصومال وأعرب رئيس بونتلند عن استعداده للعمل مع الحكومة الانتقالية على أساس الاتفاق الذي وقع مؤخراً بينه وبين رئيس الحكومة الانتقالية.

100. The international community should consider supporting projects aimed at bringing Somali professional groups, such as teachers and medical doctors, to Puntland and/or Somaliland for short - term refresher courses.

84. The authorities of Somaliland and Puntland are urged to end hostilities along the border between Sanag and Sool and to engage in comprehensive negotiations to bring the dispute to a peaceful end.
