Further recognizing the need to strengthen fisheries conservation and management, in the context of sustainable development, to promote the maintenance of the quantity, quality, diversity and availability of fishing resources for present and future generations;

The focus of next year's fifth meeting of the Consultative Process, set out in section XIII of the draft resolution, will be " New sustainable uses of the oceans, including the conservation and management of the biological diversity of the seabed in areas beyond national jurisdiction " .
وستركز مناقشات الاجتماع الخامس للعملية التشاورية في العام المقبل كما هو وراد في الجزء الثالث عشر من مشروع القرار، على " الاستخدامات المستدامة الجديدة للمحيطات بما في ذلك صون وإدارة التنوع البيولوجي لقاع البحر في المناطق التي تتجاوز نطاق الولاية الوطنية " .

The recommended area for discussion during next year's meeting of the Informal Consultative Process -- the new sustainable uses of the oceans, including the conservation and management of the biological diversity of the seabed in areas beyond national jurisdiction -- will definitely contribute to a better approach to the issues related to environmental protection and to the strengthening of cooperation in maritime matters.
