12. Legislation, regulations and guidelines whose purpose is to protect victims of trafficking and slavery and to heighten their access to courts, should be encouraged.
12- ينبغي التشجيع على وضع تشريعات وأنظمة ومبادئ توجيهية تهدف إلى حماية ضحايا الاتجار والاسترقاق وتعزيز لجوئهم إلى المحاكم.

According to the Courts (Fees) Regulations 5767-2007 (the " Courts (Fees) Regulations " ), victims of trafficking and slavery given legal aid are exempt from paying court fees, thus expediting the process of submitting claims and making it more efficient.

Consideration should be given to applying the Protection of Witnesses Plan (from January 4, 2005), to victims of trafficking and slavery or allied crimes, as far as this plan becomes operative - As mentioned in this report, on November 16th 2008 the Witness Protection Law passed into law, and it is beginning to be implemented, but thus far no case of trafficking has arisen which is appropriate.
