On 11 November 1993, the Security Council also increased the scope of the sanctions against the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.
وفي ١١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٣، زاد مجلس اﻷمن أيضا نطاق الجزاءات المفروضة ضد الجماهيرية العربية الليبية.

Some examples of such crimes included bearing weapons for a foreign country against the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, war crimes and facilitating enemies entering the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and passing information to its enemies.

25. The orchestrated media campaign against the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, which aimed to represent his country to world public opinion as a terrorist State, was a good illustration of that state of affairs.
٢٥ - واسترسل قائلا إن حملة التشويه الموجهة ضد الجماهيرية العربية الليبية بغرض وصمها بأنها دولة إرهابية في عيون الرأي العام العالمي يعتبر تجسيدا لهذه اﻷوضاع.

At the informal consultations of the whole held on 6 March 1998, the members of the Council undertook the eighteenth review of the mandatory sanctions against the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya in accordance with paragraph 13 of resolution 748 (1992).
