1. In implementing this Protocol, each High Contracting Party and party to an armed conflict shall ensure full compliance with principles and rules of International Humanitarian Law.
1- يكفل كل طرف من الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية وطرف في نزاع مسلح، في تنفيذ هذا البروتوكول، الامتثال التام لجميع مبادئ وقواعد القانون الإنساني الدولي.

Each High Contracting Party and party to a conflict, unless on-going hostilities prevent, shall:
1- يتعين على كل طرف من الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية وطرف في صراع ما، ما لم تحل أعمال القتال الجارية دون ذلك، القيام بما يلي:

1. In implementing this Protocol, each High Contracting Party and party to an armed conflict shall ensure full compliance with all applicable principles and rules of International Humanitarian Law.
1- يكفل كل طرف من الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية وطرف في نزاع مسلح، في تنفيذ هذا البروتوكول، الامتثال التام لجميع مبادئ وقواعد القانون الإنساني الدولي المنطبقة.

1. Each High Contracting Party and party to an armed conflict shall bear the responsibilities set out in this Article with respect to all cluster munition remnants in territory under its control.
1- يتحمل كل طرف من الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية وطرف في نزاع مسلح المسؤوليات المبينة في هذه المادة فيما يتعلق بجميع مخلفات الذخائر العنقودية في الإقليم الخاضع لسيطرته.
