In addition, the Commission is reminded that the Council, in paragraph 1 (j) of resolution 1982/50 on the revitalization of the Council, urged all its subsidiary bodies to exercise the utmost restraint in making requests of the Secretary-General for new reports and studies and to implement fully the provisions of the decisions of the Council and of the General Assembly with respect to the control and limitation of documentation.

In paragraph 43 of its resolution 67/255, the General Assembly expressed serious concern that progress towards the goal of 50/50 gender balance in the United Nations system had remained elusive, and reiterated its requests to the Secretary-General to increase his efforts to attain and monitor the goal of gender parity in the Secretariat.

Reaffirms its concern over the continuing vacancies in the Office of Internal Oversight Services, and in this regard reiterates its requests to the Secretary-General to make every effort to fill vacancies in the Office at all levels as a matter of priority, in accordance with the relevant provisions governing recruitment in the United Nations;
18 - تكرر الإعراب عن قلقها إزاء استمرار الشواغر في مكتب خدمات الرقابة الداخلية، وتكرر في هذا الصدد طلباتها إلى الأمين العام أن يبذل قصارى جهده لملء الشواغر في المكتب من جميع الرتب على سبيل الأولوية، وفقا للأحكام ذات الصلة بالموضوع التي تنظم استقدام الموظفين في الأمم المتحدة؛
