16- وثمة موافقة على موقف لبنان بشأن أهمية حقوق الإنسان المتعلقة بأكثر الفئات حرمانا، ومن الجدير بالذكر أن مجلس حقوق الإنسان قد عقد اجتماعا يتصل بالأزمة الغذائية الحالية إلى جانب الحق في الغذاء، حيث طلب إلى المقرر الخاص المعني بالحق في الغذاء أن يراعي إعمال هذا الحق على أرض الواقع.

It refused to participate in such a debate, given that the Human Rights Council had asked the Special Rapporteur to examine the consequences of counter-terrorism measures for women, not to delve into considerations such as sexual orientation or gender identity.
ولذلك فإن المجموعة تأسف لابتعاد المقرر الخاص عن ولايته بمحاولته تضمينها أفكارا خلافية ومفاهيم مغلوطة، وترفض الانخراط في مثل هذه المناقشة، فمجلس حقوق الإنسان طلب إلى المقرر الخاص النظر في آثار تدابير مكافحة الإرهاب على المرأة، وليس الدخول في اعتبارات من قبيل الميول والهوية الجنسية.
