At its twenty-eighth session, the General Assembly decided to increase the membership of the Scientific Committee to a maximum of 20 (resolution 3154 C (XXVIII)) and, at its forty-first session, the Assembly decided to increase the membership to a maximum of 21 (resolution 41/62 B).
وفي دورتها الثامنة والعشرين، قررت الجمعية العامة أن تزيد عدد أعضاء اللجنة العلمية الى ٢٠ عضوا كحد أقصى )القرار ٣١٥٤ جيم )د - ٢٨(. وفي دورتها الحادية واﻷربعين، قررت أن تزيد عدد اﻷعضاء الى ٢١ عضوا كحد أقصى )القرار ٤١/٦٢ باء(.
