Ms. Bertini (Under-Secretary-General for Management), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on strengthening the security and safety of United Nations operations, staff and premises (A/58/756), said that the attack on the United Nations facilities in Baghdad on 19 August 2003 had radically changed the security environment in which the Organization operated.
2 - السيدة بيرتينى (وكيل الأمين العام للشؤون الإدارية): عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن تعزيز أمن وسلامة عمليات الأمم المتحدة وموظفيها ومقارها (A/58/756) وقالت إن الاعتداء علي مرافق الأمم المتحدة في بغداد في 19 آب/أغسطس 2003 غيَّر بصورة جذرية البيئة الأمنية التي تعمل فيها الأمم المتحدة.

7. Ms. Akhtar (Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Development), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on the role of the United Nations in promoting development in the context of globalization and interdependence (A/68/259), said that increasing global interdependence had far-reaching implications for national development strategies and objectives.
7 - السيدة أختار (الأمين العام المساعد للتنمية الاقتصادية): عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن دور الأمم المتحدة في تعزيز التنمية في سياق العولمة والترابط (A/68/259)، وقالت إن لتزايد الترابط العالمي تبعات بعيدة المدى بالنسبة للاستراتيجيات والأهداف الإنمائية الوطنية.

11. Ms. Dubinsky (Director, Ethics Office), introducing the Secretary-General's report on the activities of the Ethics Office (A/67/306), said that, during the reporting period, the Ethics Office had received 877 requests for its services.

2. Ms. Haq (Under-Secretary-General for Field Support), introducing the Secretary-General's report on the implementation of the report of the Senior Advisory Group (A/67/713), said that the Organization had over 93,000 uniformed personnel in the field implementing complex mandates, often in volatile and hostile environments.

45. Ms. Casar (Controller), introducing the Secretary-General's report on the financing of unforeseen and extraordinary expenses arising from resolutions and decisions of the Human Rights Council (A/66/558 and Corr.1), said that it presented three options for the financing of extraordinary expenses.

20. Ms. Li Yuefen (Head of the Debt and Development Finance Branch, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on external debt sustainability and development (A/68/203), said that five years after the global and financial crisis, the economic recovery remained very slow.

Ms. Albrectsen (Deputy Executive Director (Management), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)), introducing the report of the Secretary-General entitled " Supporting efforts to end obstetric fistula " (A/67/258), said that every day 800 women died from complications of pregnancy and for every woman who died, 20 or more had complications leading to injury or disablement.
31 - السيدة البركتسن (نائب المدير التنفيذي (الإدارة)، صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان: عرضت تقرير الأمين العام المعنون " دعم الجهود الرامية إلى القضاء على ناسور الولادة " (A/67/258). وقالت إن هناك 800 امرأة يلقين حتفهن يومياً من جراء تعقيدات الحمل.

1. Ms. Kane (Under-Secretary-General for Management), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on progress towards an accountability system in the United Nations Secretariat (A/66/692), said that the report highlighted the progress made in the previous two years to strengthen accountability.

19. Ms. McDonald (Director of the Facilities and Commercial Services Division of the Office of Central Support Services), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on procurement reform (A/59/216), said that during the previous six years the volume of procurement had risen nearly 300 per cent in US dollar terms.

2. Ms. Axenidou (Senior Legal Adviser in the Office of the Under-Secretary-General for Management), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on the administration of justice in the Secretariat (A/59/706), recalled that, pursuant to the request made by the General Assembly in its resolution 57/307, the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) had conducted a management review of the appeals process (A/59/408).

8. Ms. Salim (Assistant Secretary-General for Human Resources Management), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on the composition of the Secretariat (A/55/427), said that the report covered the period from 1 July 1999 to 30 June 2000.

17. Ms. King (Assistant Secretary-General, Special Adviser on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on improvement of the status of women in the Secretariat (A/55/399), said that women's participation at the highest levels of national and international decision-making had not changed significantly over the last five years.
17 - السيدة كينغ (الأمينة العامة المساعدة والمستشارة الخاصة للقضايا الجنسانية والنهوض بالمرأة): عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن تحسين وضع المرأة في الأمانة العامة (A/55/399) فقالت إن مشاركة المرأة في وظائف اتخاذ القرارات الوطنية والدولية على المستويات العليا لم يتغير كثيرا على مدى السنوات الخمس السابقة.

62. Ms. Vendat (Director, Peacekeeping Financing Division), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on the financing of the United Nations Operation in Burundi (ONUB) (A/63/551), said that the report provided details on the final disposition of that Mission's assets, valued at $59,152,442 as at 3 November 2008.

59. Ms. Bilello (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)) introducing the report of the Secretary-General on the International Year of Planet Earth (A/62/376), said that the Year would begin in January 2008 and would be launched at UNESCO headquarters in February.
59 - السيدة بيليلو (منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو)): عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن السنة الدولية لكوكب الأرض (A/62/376) فقالت إن السنة سوف تبدأ في كانون الثاني/يناير 2008 وسوف تُستَهَل في مقر اليونسكو في شباط/فبراير.

6. Ms. Casar (Controller), introducing the Secretary-General's report on supplementary estimates for the financing of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) (A/66/529), said that the Assembly, by its resolution 65/294, had appropriated $486.7 million for the maintenance of the Operation for the period from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012.
6 - السيدة كاسار (المراقبة المالية): عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن التقديرات التكميلية لتمويل عملية الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار (A/66/529) فقالت إن الجمعية اعتمدت بموجب قرارها رقم 65/294 مبلغ 486.7 مليون دولار للإنفاق على العملية خلال الفترة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2011 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2012.

31. Ms. Malcorra (Under-Secretary-General for Field Support), introducing the Secretary-General's report on the global field support strategy (A/64/633), recalled that informal consultations on the subject with the Member States had been in progress for more than a year.

15. Ms. Van Buerle (Director, Programme Planning and Budget Division), introducing the Secretary-General's report on revised estimates: effect of changes in rates of exchange and inflation (A/62/587), said that the revised estimates had been submitted in accordance with established procedures.

37. Ms. Pollard (Assistant Secretary-General for Human Resources Management), introducing the Secretary-General's report on special measures for protection from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse (A/64/669), said that it presented data collected by the Office of Human Resources Management on allegations of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse within the United Nations system for the period from January to December 2009.
37 - السيدة بولارد (الأمين العام المساعد لإدارة الموارد البشرية)، عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن التدابير الخاصة بالحماية من الاستغلال الجنسي والاعتداء الجنسي (A/64/669)، وقالت إن التقرير يعرض البيانات التي جمعها مكتب إدارة الموارد البشرية بشأن الادعاءات الخاصة بحدوث استغلال جنسي أو اعتداء جنسي في منظومة الأمم المتحدة في الفترة من كانون الثاني/يناير إلى كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2009.

19. Ms. de Miranda (Office of Human Resources Management), introducing the Secretary-General's report on special measures for protection from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse (A/67/766), said that it provided data on allegations of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse by United Nations personnel from 1 January to 31 December 2012.
19 - السيدة دي ميراندا (مكتب إدارة الموارد البشرية): عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن التدابير الخاصة للحماية من الاستغلال الجنسي والاعتداء الجنسي (A/67/766)، قائلة إن التقرير يقدم بيانات عن ادعاءات بوقوع حوادث استغلال جنسي واعتداء جنسي من جانب موظفي الأمم المتحدة في الفترة من 1 كانون الثاني/يناير إلى 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2012.

86. Ms. Casar (Controller), introducing the Secretary-General's report on the budget for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) for the period from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014 (A/68/538), said that the proposed budget had been prepared on the basis of the revised standardized funding model, taking into account lessons learned.
٨٦ - السيدة كاسار (المراقب المالي): عرضت تقرير الأمين العام عن ميزانية بعثة الأمم المتحدة المتكاملة المتعددة الأبعاد لتحقيق الاستقرار في مالي للفترة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2013 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2014 (A/68/538)، فقالت إن الميزانية المقترحة قد أعدت على أساس نموذج التمويل الموحد المنقح، مع مراعاة الدروس المستفادة.
