وأفادت الرئيسة أنه عقب المشاورات التي أجراها المجلس أُذن لها بالإدلاء ببيان باسم المجلس وتلت نص ذلك البيان (للاطلاع على النص، انظر S/PRST/2005/19، سيصدر البيان ضمن الوثائق الرسمية لمجلس الأمن، وقرارات ومقررات مجلس الأمن، 1 آب/أغسطس 2004 - 31 تموز/يوليه 2005).
