The Committee should merely take note of those reports of the Secretary-General or subsidiary organs which did not require a decision by the Assembly and should neither debate nor adopt resolutions on them, unless specifically requested to do so by the Secretary-General or the organ concerned.
وينبغي أن تكتفي اللجنة باﻹحاطة علما بتقارير اﻷمين العام أو الهيئات الفرعية التي لا تحتاج إلى قرار من الجمعية العامة، على ألا تناقش تلك التقارير أو تتخذ قرارات بشأنها، ما لم يطلب اﻷمين العام أو تطلب الهيئة المعنية ذلك على وجه التحديد.

The General Assembly, including its Main Committees, should merely take note of those reports of the Secretary-General or subsidiary organs which do not require a decision by the Assembly and should neither debate nor adopt resolutions on them, unless specifically requested to do so by the Secretary-General or the organ concerned. "

In addition, the Main Committees should merely take note of the reports of the Secretary-General or of subsidiary bodies which did not require a decision by the General Assembly and should neither debate nor adopt resolutions on them unless specifically requested to do so.

31. At its 51st meeting, on 23 November, on the proposal of the Chair, the Committee decided to recommend to the General Assembly that it take note of reports of the Secretary-General considered in connection with crime prevention and criminal justice (see para. 33).
31 - قرّرت اللجنة في جلستها 51 المعقودة في 23 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2010، بناء على اقتراح من الرئيس، أن توصي الجمعية العامة بالإحاطة علما بتقارير الأمين العام التي نظرت فيها فيما يتصل بمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية (انظر الفقرة 33).

22. The Committee took note of the Secretary-General's reports on cost-saving measures, budget performance, main lines of research, organizational chart and countries in arrears, and requested him to produce similar reports next year.
22 - وأحاطت اللجنة علما بتقارير الأمين العام المتعلقة بالتدابير الرامية إلى تحقيق وفورات في التكاليف وأداء الميزانية واتجاهات البحث الرئيسية والهيكل التنظيمي والبلدان التي عليها متأخرات، وطلبت إليه تقديم تقارير مماثلة في السنة المقبلة.
