إذ تنص الفقرة 4 من المادة 2 من الفصل الأول من الميثاق على ما يلي: ' ' يمتنع أعضاء الهيئة جميعا في علاقاتهم الدولية عن التهديد باستعمال القوة أو استخدامها ضد سلامة الأراضي أو الاستقلال السياسي لأية دولة أو على أي وجه آخر لا يتفق ومقاصد الأمم المتحدة``.

In particular, all States shall refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State, or in any other manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations.
وبوجه خاص، امتناع جميع الدول عن التهديد باستعمال القوة أو استخدامها ضد السلامة الإقليمية أو الاستقلال السياسي لأية دولة أو على أي وجه آخر لا يتفق ومقاصد الأمم المتحدة.

“4. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations”.

In Article 2, paragraph 4, the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of another State or in any other manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations is prohibited.
فبموجب الفقرة ٤ من المادة ٢، يحظر التهديد باستعمال القوة أو استعمالها ضد سلامة اﻷراضي أو الاستقلال السياسي ﻷية دولة أخرى أو على أي وجه آخر لا يتفق ومقاصد اﻷمم المتحدة.

In this context, it is the firm conviction of Lithuania that States can make a genuine contribution to global security by refraining from the use or threat of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State or in any other manner inconsistent with the principles and purposes set forth in the Charter of the United Nations.

1.
