٣ - إذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه اﻷغلبية أقل من عدد المناصب المقرر شغلها، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب المتبقية، ويقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من اﻷصوات في الاقتراع السابق على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية.

If three such unrestricted ballots are inconclusive, the next three ballots shall be restricted to the candidates who obtained the greatest number of votes in the third of the unrestricted ballots, to a number not more than twice the places remaining to be filled, and the following three ballots thereafter shall be unrestricted, and so on until all the places have been filled.
فاذا أجريت ثلاثة من هذه الاقتراعات غير المقيدة دون أن تسفر عن نتيجة حاسمة، اقتصرت الاقتراعات الثلاثة التي تليها على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من اﻷصوات في ثالث اقتراع غير مقيد وبعدد لا يزيد على ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية، وتكون الاقتراعات الثلاثة التي تلي هذه غير مقيدة، وهلم جرا، حتى يتم شغل كل المناصب.
