Paragraph 9 (f) should be replaced with the following text: " to ensure that everyone has the right and opportunity to have access, on general terms of equality, to public service in one's country, without any discrimination on the basis of religion or belief; " .
ويستعاض عن الفقرة الفرعية 19( و) بالنص التالي: " أن تكفل أن يتمتع كل شخص بالحق وأن تتاح له الفرصة على قدم المساواة مع سواه في تقلد الوظائف العامة في بلده، بدون أي تمييز على أساس الدين أو المعتقد؛ " .

4.4 The State party declares that it has not violated article 25 (c) of the Covenant, since the author was not deprived of access, on general terms of equality, to public service in his country, as demonstrated by his 11 years of service in a public institution.

The Commission also affirmed that the rights of democratic governance include the rights to freedom of opinion and expression, the right to freedom of information, the rule of law, the right to universal and equal suffrage, the right of political participation, transparent and accountable government institutions, the right of citizens to choose their governmental system, and the right to equal access to the public service in one's country.
وأكدت اللجنة أيضاً أن حقوق الحكم الديمقراطي تشمل الحق في حرية الرأي والتعبير، والحق في حرية التماس المعلومات، وحكم القانون، والحق في الاقتراع العام على قدم المساواة، والحق في المشاركة السياسية، وإقامة مؤسسات حكومية شفافة وخاضعة للمساءلة، وحق المواطنين في اختيار نظامهم الحكومي، وحق الفرد في أن تتاح له على قدم المساواة مع سواه فرصة تقلد الوظائف العامة في بلده.
