وتشيد الفلبين بالاتحاد الروسي والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية على ما بذلاه من جهود في التفاوض على اتفاق بشأن اتفاق متابعة لمعاهدة تخفيض الأسلحة الهجومية الاستراتيجية والحد منها، وتدعو جميع الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية إلى مواصلة المفاوضات بشأن نزع السلاح النووي في أقرب وقت ممكن.
