77. Various amendments were made to the rules of the older Act on procedure in cases involving custody. One of these was that it was set in a statute for the first time that a child who has reached the age of 12 is to be given the opportunity to express his or her opinion regarding custody, and that the question should be discussed with younger children, taking into account their age and maturity.
٧٧- وأدخلت تعديلات متنوعة على قواعد القانون القديم بشأن اﻹجراء المتبع في القضايا المنطوية على وصاية، منها أنه أدخل في التشريع ﻷول مرة أنه يتعين إعطاء الطفل الذي بلغ سن الثانية عشرة فرصة التعبير عن رأيه فيما يتعلق بالوصاية، وأنه ينبغي مناقشة المسألة مع اﻷطفال اﻷصغر سناً، مع مراعاة عمرهم ومدى نضجهم.
