في هذا القرار كررت اللجنة الاعراب عن قلقها إزاء استمرار ورود تقارير عن التخويف والانتقام اللذين يتعرض لهما من يسعى من اﻷفراد والجماعات إلى التعاون مع اﻷمم المتحدة وممثلي هيئاتها المعنية بحقوق اﻹنسان.

Reiterating its concern at the continued reports of intimidation and reprisals against private individuals and groups who seek to cooperate with the United Nations and representatives of its human rights bodies,
إذ تكرر اﻹعراب عن قلقها إزاء استمرار ورود تقارير عن التخويف والانتقام اللذين يتعرض لهما من يسعى من اﻷفراد والجماعات الخاصة الى التعاون مع اﻷمم المتحدة وممثلي هيئاتها المعنية بحقوق اﻹنسان،

Recognizing also that Member States are responsible for ensuring free and fair elections, free of intimidation, coercion and tampering of vote counts, and that all such acts are sanctioned accordingly,
وإذ تسلم أيضا بأن الدول الأعضاء مسؤولة عن كفالة إجراء انتخابات حرة ونـزيهة، بعيدا عن التخويف والقسر والتلاعب بعمليات فرز الأصوات، وعن المعاقبة على جميع هذه الأعمال تبعا لذلك،

At that time, I will determine whether there has been enough significant progress to continue registration on the basis that the people of East Timor are able to participate in the popular consultation safely and free of intimidation.
وعندئذ سأقرر ما إذا كان قد أحرز تقدم هام كاف لمواصلة التسجيل على أساس أن بمقدور شعب تيمور الشرقية المشاركة في استطلاع رأي الشعب بأمان وبمنأى عن التخويف.

Reports of intimidation were received from throughout the country, as were reports of persons losing their employment, especially in State enterprises, because of their political affiliations.
ووردت تقارير عن التخويف من كل أنحاء البلد وكذلك تقارير عن اﻷشخاص الذين فقدوا وظيفتهم خاصة في مؤسسات الدولة بسبب انتمائهم السياسي.

ففي هذا القرار، كررت اللجنة الإعراب عن قلقها إزاء استمرار ورود تقارير عن التخويف والانتقام اللذين يتعرض لهما من يسعى من الأفراد والجماعات إلى التعاون مع الأمم المتحدة وممثلي هيئاتها المعنية بحقوق الإنسان.

20. During the period under review, reports of intimidation and reprisals against private individuals and groups who seek to cooperate with the United Nations and representatives of its human rights bodies have continued to be received.
20- خلال الفترة المستعرَضة، استمر ورود تقارير عن التخويف وأعمال الانتقام اللذيْن يتعرَّض لهما من يسعى من الأفراد والجماعات إلى التعاون مع الأمم المتحدة وممثلي هيئاتها المعنية بحقوق الإنسان.
