On 5 August the Secretariat briefed the Council members on the situation on the ground.

The Special Representative and the Force Commander of UNMISS, Major General Delali Johnson Sakyi, speaking by videoconference, gave the Council an account of the situation on the ground.

The present report is submitted pursuant to Security Council resolution 2062 (2012) of 26 July 2012, by which the Council extended the mandate of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) until 31 July 2013 and requested that I provide, no later than 30 June 2013, a final report on the situation on the ground and the implementation of the resolution.
1 - يقدم هذا التقرير عملا بقرار مجلس الأمن 2062 (2012) المؤرخ 26 تموز/ يوليه 2012، الذي مدد المجلس بموجبه ولاية عملية الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار حتى 31 تموز/يوليه 2013، وطلب أن أقدم تقريرا نهائيا عن الحالة في الميدان وعن تنفيذ هذا القرار في موعد أقصاه 30 حزيران/يونيه 2013.

1. The present report is submitted pursuant to Security Council resolution 1962 (2010), by which the Council extended the mandate of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) until 30 June 2011 and requested me to provide a midterm report on the situation on the ground no later than 31 March 2011.
1 - يُقدَّم هذا التقرير عملا بقرار مجلس الأمن 1962 (2010) الذي مدد مجلس الأمن بموجبه ولاية عملية الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار حتى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2011، وطلب إليّ فيه تقديم تقرير لمنتصف المدة عن الحالة في الميدان في موعد أقصاه 31 آذار/مارس 2011.

The 56 officers deployed throughout the country are responsible for liaison with the Congolese parties in addressing problems on a daily basis, reporting on the situation on the ground, for bringing evolving issues to the attention of MONUC headquarters and coordinating with MONUC military, civilian police, civil affairs, human rights and humanitarian officers to develop a holistic picture of the situation on the ground.
والموظفون البالغ عددهم 56 المنشورون في كافة أنحاء البلد مسؤولون عن إقامة الاتصالات مع الأطراف الكونغولية لمعالجة المشاكل على أساس يومي، وتقديم تقارير عن الحالة في الميدان وإطلاع مقر البعثة على القضايا الناشئة والتنسيق مع الأفراد العسكريين وأفراد الشرطة المدنية وموظفي الشؤون المدنية وحقوق الإنسان والشؤون الإنسانية التابعين للبعثة لرسم صورة شاملة للحالة في الميدان.

18. Requests the Secretary-General to provide to it a midterm report no later than 31 March 2011 on the situation on the ground, to include an assessment of the need to extend the temporary personnel deployments authorized by resolutions 1942 (2010) and a full report no later than 31 May 2011 on the situation on the ground and the implementation of this resolution;
18 - يطلب من الأمين العام أن يقدم له، في موعد أقصاه 31 آذار/ مارس 2011، تقرير منتصف مدة عن الحالة في الميدان، يشمل تقييما لمدى الحاجة إلى تمديد عمليتي النشر المؤقتتين للأفراد اللتين أُذن بهما في القرارين 1942 (2010) و 1951 (2010)، وتقريرا كاملا، في موعد أقصاه 31 أيار/مايو 2011، عن الحالة في الميدان وعن تنفيذ هذا القرار؛
