27. Ms. Lasimbang highlighted the fact that the final report on the study on indigenous peoples and the right to participate in decision-making complemented the progress report on the study, and includes Expert Mechanism advice No. 2.
27- أكّدت السيدة لاسيمبانغ على أن التقرير النهائي عن الدراسة المتعلقة بالشعوب الأصلية والحق في المشاركة في صنع القرارات يكمّل التقرير المرحلي الذي صدر عن تلك الدراسة وهو يتضمن المشورة رقم 2 الصادرة عن آلية الخبراء.

47. At its last meeting, the Expert Mechanism adopted the final report on the study on indigenous peoples and the right to participate in decision-making and several proposals (see section II above).

The Expert Mechanism's " Final report of the study on indigenous peoples and the right to participate in decision-making " (A/HRC/18/42) suggests a number of good practices by which indigenous peoples may participate in decision-making and stresses that their involvement in the design of the practices is important for success.
