Requests the Chairperson of the Commission to appoint for one year a special representative of the Commission with a mandate to examine the situation of human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia; in reporting on the human rights situation in Kosovo, the Special Representative should:
40- ترجو من رئيس اللجنة أن يُعَيِّن، لمدة سنة واحدة، ممثلاً خاصا للجنة يُكََلَّف بدراسة حالة حقوق الإنسان في البوسنة والهرسك وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية؛ وينبغي للممثل الخاص، عند إعداد تقاريره عن حالة حقوق الإنسان في كوسوفو:

The Committee considers that the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights continues to apply in Kosovo, and it therefore encourages UNMIK to provide it, in cooperation with the institutions of Kosovo, and without prejudice to the final legal status of Kosovo, with a report on the human rights situation in Kosovo since July 2006.
وترى اللجنة أن العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية لا يزال ساريا في كوسوفو. ولذلك فإنها تشجع البعثة على أن توافيها، بالتعاون مع المؤسسات في كوسوفو، ودون المساس بالوضع القانوني النهائي لكوسوفو، بتقرير عن حالة حقوق الإنسان في كوسوفو منذ تموز/يوليه 2006.

The Committee considers that the Covenant continues to apply in Kosovo, and it therefore encourages UNMIK to provide it, in cooperation with the institutions of Kosovo, and without prejudice to the final legal status of Kosovo, with a report on the human rights situation in Kosovo since July 2006.
وترى اللجنة أن العهد لا يزال يسري في كوسوفو، ولذلك فإنها تشجع البعثة على موافاتها، بالتعاون مع المؤسسات في كوسوفو، ودون المساس بالوضع القانوني النهائي لكوسوفو، بتقرير عن حالة حقوق الإنسان في كوسوفو منذ تموز/يوليه 2006.

(أ) رجت من رئيس اللجنة أن يعين، لمدة سنة واحدة، ممثلاً خاصاً للجنة يكلَّف بدراسة حالة حقوق الإنسان في البوسنة والهرسك وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية؛ وينبغي للممثل الخاص، عند إعداد تقاريره عن حالة حقوق الإنسان في كوسوفو:

(2) The Committee welcomes the submission by the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo of a report on the human rights situation in Kosovo since 1999, pursuant to a request formulated by the Committee in its concluding observations on the initial report of Serbia and Montenegro (CCPR/CO/81/SEMO, para. 3) in 2004.
(2) ترحب اللجنة بقيام بعثة الإدارة المؤقتة للأمم المتحدة في كوسوفو (بعثة الأمم المتحدة في كوسوفو) بتقديم تقرير عن حالة حقوق الإنسان في كوسوفو منذ عام 1999، وذلك استجابة لطلب قدمته اللجنة في ملاحظاتها الختامية على التقرير الأولي المقدم من صربيا والجبل الأسود CCPR/CO/81/SEMO)، الفقرة 3) عام 2004.

(1) The Committee considered the report submitted by the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) on the human rights situation in Kosovo since June 1999 (CCPR/C/UNK/1) at its 2383rd, 2384th and 2385th meetings (CCPR/C/SR.2383, 2384 and 2385), held on 19 and 20 July 2006, and adopted the following concluding observations at its 2394th meeting (CCPR/C/SR.2394), held on 27 July 2006.
