The present note contains a report on the work of the working group during the period 6 February-29 October 2010.
وتضمّ هذه المذكرة تقريراً عن عمل الفريق العامل خلال الفترة من 6 شباط/فبراير إلى 29 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2010.

The participating delegate reported to the meeting on United Nations activities in respect of indigenous people, and in particular on the work of the working group on Indigenous Populations, the Working Group elaborating a draft declaration on the rights of indigenous people and the programme of activities of the International Decade of the World’s Indigenous People.
وقدم المندوب المشارك إلى الاجتماع تقريراً عن أنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة فيما يتعلق بالسكان اﻷصليين، وبخاصة عن عمل الفريق العامل المعني بالسكان اﻷصليين، والفريق العامل المسؤول عن وضع مشروع إعلان عن حقوق السكان اﻷصليين، وبرنامج أنشطة العقد الدولي للسكان اﻷصليين في العالم.

At the 49th meeting, on 27 November, the Chairman of the Working Group presented an oral report on the work of the working group (see A/C.6/51/SR.49).

29. Finally, information was provided on the work of the working group of Indigenous Populations on revising guidelines on the protection of the cultural heritage of indigenous populations.
29 - وأخيرا، قُدمت معلومات عن عمل الفريق العامل المعني بالسكان الأصليين فيما يتعلق بتنقيح المبادئ التوجيهية المتصلة بحماية التراث الثقافي للسكان الأصليين.

Mr. Jan Pronk, reporting on the work of Group I, said that the view held was that pollution was man-made and that it was both of a national and global nature.

The Chairman of the Working Group on the United Nations Decade of International Law, Mr. Peter Tomka (Slovakia), reported on the work of the working group and introduced draft resolution A/C.6/50/L.10.
