1. Each Party included in Annex I shall ensure that its net aggregate anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A do not exceed its commitments, expressed in terms of emission budgets, inscribed in Attachment 1.
١- يكفل كل طرف مدرج في المرفق اﻷول ألا يتعدى مجمل صافي مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون البشري المصدر لانبعاثاته من غازات الدفيئة المدرجة في المرفق ألف التزاماته المرصودة في ميزانيات الانبعاثات والمسجلة في الضميمة ١.

6.[ Each Party acting under Article 10 shall ensure that its net aggregate anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A do not exceed its commitments, expressed in terms of emission budgets and inscribed in Attachment 1, determined in accordance with the provisions of Article 10.]

9.[ The first emission budget for each Party acting under Article 10 shall be equal to the percentage, determined in accordance with Article 10, of its net aggregate anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A in the base year or period determined in accordance with Article 10, multiplied by five.]

In the second quantified emission limitation and reduction commitment period, from 2013 to 2017, the assigned amount for each Party included in Annex I shall be equal to the percentage inscribed for it in Annex B of its aggregate anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A in 1990, or the base year or period determined in accordance with paragraph 5 above, multiplied by five.

" Any Party included in Annex I should apply as reference level for the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Uses sector the average value of the annual anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent net emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A in the period 2000 - 2005, for the purposes of the calculation referred to in paragraph 7 below.

Any Party included in Annex I should apply as reference level for the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Use sector the average value of the annual anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions by sources and removals by sinks of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A in the period 20XX - 20XX, for the purposes of the calculation referred to in paragraph 7 below.

In every quantified emission reduction commitment period, the assigned amount for each Party included in Annex I shall be equal to the percentage inscribed for it in Annex B, as amended, of its aggregated anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A in 1990, or the base year or period determined in accordance with paragraph 5 above, multiplied by five.

3. For the first commitment period the global warming potentials used to calculate the carbon dioxide equivalence of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks of greenhouse gases listed in Annex A shall be those accepted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and agreed upon by the Conference of the Parties at its third session.
3- فيما يخص فترة الالتزام الأولى تكون احتمالات الاحترار العالمي، المستعملة في حساب مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون من الانبعاثات البشرية المنشأ بحسب المصدر وإزالة غازات الدفيئة المدرجة في المرفق ألف بواسطة البالوعات، هي التي قبلها الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بتغير المناخ ووافق عليها مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثالثة.

In the second commitment period, the Parties included in Annex I shall, individually or jointly, ensure that their aggregate anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A do not exceed their assigned amounts, calculated pursuant to their quantified emission limitation and reduction commitments inscribed in Annex [B] [C] and in accordance with the provisions of this Article.

1 quater In the second quantified emission reduction commitment period, from 2013 to 2020, the assigned amount for each Party included in Annex I shall be equal to the percentage inscribed for it in Annex B of its aggregated anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A in 1990, or the base year or period determined in accordance with paragraph 5 below, multiplied by eight.

34. Article 3, paragraph 1, of the Kyoto Protocol provides that Annex I Parties shall, individually or jointly, ensure that their aggregate CO2 eq emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A do not exceed their assigned amounts, calculated pursuant to their QELROs inscribed in Annex B and in accordance with the provisions of Article 3.
34- تنص الفقرة 1 من المادة 3 من بروتوكول كيوتو على أن الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول تكفل منفردة أو مجتمعة ألا يتعدى مجمل مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون البشري المنشأ لانبعاثاتها من غازات الدفيئة المدرجة في المرفق ألف الكميات المسندة إليها محسوبة وفق التزاماتها الكمية بتحديد الانبعاثات وخفضها المقيدة في المرفق باء ووفقاً لأحكام المادة 3.

18. Any Parties included in Annex I to the Convention that have reached an agreement to fulfill their respective commitments jointly shall be deemed to have met those commitments provided that their total combined aggregate anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalent emissions of the greenhouse gases listed in Annex A (of the Draft Protocol) do not exceed their assigned amounts inscribed in Annex B (of the Draft Protocol).4
18- تُعتبر أي أطراف مدرجة في المرفق الأول للاتفاقية توصلت إلى اتفاق للوفاء بالالتزامات الخاصة بكل منها مجتمعة أنها أوفت بتلك الالتزامات إذا كان المجموع المشترك لإجمالي مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون لانبعاثاتها البشرية المنشأ من غازات الدفيئة المدرجة في المرفق ألف (من مشروع البروتوكول) لا يتجاوز الكميات المخصصة لها المسجلة في المرفق باء (من مشروع البروتوكول)().

The AWG-KP acknowledged that there are common metrics other than GWPs that could be used to calculate the CO2 equivalence of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks of GHGs listed in Annex A to the Kyoto Protocol.
44- واعترف الفريق العامل المخصص بوجود مقاييس ومعايير موحدة غير إمكانيات الاحترار العالمي يمكن استخدامها لحساب مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون في الانبعاثات البشرية المنشأ وإزالة غازات الدفيئة المدرجة في المرفق ألف من بروتوكول كيوتو بواسطة بالوعات الامتصاص.
