Bangladesh should like to reaffirm its strong position that, in accordance with article 77, paragraph 3, of the Convention, " the rights of the coastal State over the continental shelf do not depend on occupation, effective or notional, or any express proclamation " .
وبناء على الفقرة 3 من المادة 77، تود بنغلاديش أن تؤكد من جديد موقفها القوي بأنه " لا تتوقف حقوق الدول الساحلية على الجرف القاري على احتلال فعلي أو حكمي ولا على أي إعلان صريح " .
