The purpose of those activities has been to raise international awareness of the facts relating to the question of Palestine and to promote support for the peace process and the mobilization of international assistance to the Palestinian people.
والهدف من هذه اﻷنشطة هو زيادة الوعي الدولي بالوقائع المتعلقة بقضية فلسطين وتعزيز الدعم لعملية السلم وتعبئة المساعدة الدولية للشعب الفلسطيني.

Under the auspices of the Committee, thematic international meetings and conferences will be convened to increase awareness of the various aspects of the question of Palestine and to promote dialogue among the parties concerned, including Governments, intergovernmental organizations, entities of the United Nations system and civil society organizations.
وسوف تعقد اجتماعات ومؤتمرات دولية مواضيعية تحت إشراف اللجنة لزيادة الوعي بالجوانب المختلفة لقضية فلسطين وتعزيز الحوار فيما بين الأطراف المعنية بما فيها الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية وكيانات منظومة الأمم المتحدة ومنظمات المجتمع المدني.

The Committee has stressed its role in bringing together and developing a network of non-governmental organizations interested in the question of Palestine and in promoting solidarity activities, as well as concrete assistance.
وأكدت اللجنة أيضا دورها في تجميع وتنمية شبكة من المنظمات غير الحكومية المهتمة بقضية فلسطين وتعزيز أنشطة التضامن فضلا عن تقديم المساعدة الملموسة.
