In addition to the activities undertaken in Africa referred to above, the Office was also active in other regions and, among other things, trained law enforcement agencies in Central America and the Caribbean in the production of serious and organized crime threat assessments, providing them with the methodology to produce strategic reports which help Governments to identify and prioritize threats and deploy appropriate resources.
