Of the 40 States Parties that are in the process of implementing the Convention's Article 5 mine clearance obligations, 33 have indicated at meetings of the Standing Committees or Meetings of the States Parties that, in accordance with Article 5, paragraph 1, they are seeking or have sought assistance from other States Parties.
