16. in section II of its resolution 44/226, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to consider ways and means of ensuring more effective involvement of non-governmental organizations in promoting the dissemination and utilization of the Consolidated List.
١٦ - وقد طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام في الجزء الثاني من قرارها ٤٤/٢٢٦ النظر في السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بضمان المزيد من المشاركة الفعالة للمنظمات غي الحكومية في تعزيز توزيع القائمة واستخدامها.

27. in section II of its resolution 44/226, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to ensure the publication of the List in English, French and Spanish in accordance with demand, bearing in mind resolution 39/229.
٧٢ - وطلبت الجمعية العامة في الجزء الثاني من قرارها ٤٤/٦٢٢ إلى اﻷمين العام أن يكفل نشر القائمة بالاسبانية والانكليزية والفرنسية حسب الطلب مع أخذ قرار الجمعية العامة ٩٣/٩٢٢ في الحسبان.

32. in section II of its resolution 44/226, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to consider ways and means of ensuring more effective involvement of non-governmental organizations in promoting the dissemination and utilization of the List.
٢٣ - وقد طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام في الجزء الثاني من قرارها ٤٤/٦٢٢ النظر في السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بضمان المزيد من المشاركة الفعالة للمنظمات غير الحكومية في تعزيز توزيع القائمة واستخدامها.

55. in section II of its resolution 60/283, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to provide a detailed explanation and concrete examples of how it is envisaged that the proposals will enhance the effectiveness of the work of the Organization and address current deficiencies.
55 - طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام في الجزء الثاني من قرارها 60/283 تقديم شرح مفصل وأمثلة ملموسة عن الطريقة التي يُـتوخى بها أن تعزز المقترحات فعالية عمل المنظمة وأن تعالج أوجه القصور الحالية.

وحثت الجمعية العامة في الجزء الثاني من قرارها 57/174 جميع الدول الأعضاء على تنفيذ خطة العمل المتعلقة بتنفيذ الاعلان الخاص بالمبادئ التوجيهية لخفض الطلب على المخدرات، وعلى تعزيز جهودها الوطنية لمكافحة اساءة استعمال المخدرات غير المشروعة بين سكانها، ولا سيما الأطفال والشباب.

33.7 In order to remedy the situation with the facilities' physical condition at Headquarters, the General Assembly, in section II of its resolution 57/292 of 20 December 2002, decided to implement the capital master plan and authorized the Secretary-General to proceed with the remaining design phases of the project.

With regard to death and disability, in section II of its resolution 51/218 E of 17 June 1998, the General Assembly approved a new system of self insurance; established uniform and standardized rates for the payment of awards in cases of death and disability sustained by troops in the service of the United Nations peacekeeping operations; and decided that the new rates would apply to cases after 30 June 1997.
٥ - ففيما يتعلــق بالوفاة والعجز، وافقت الجمعية العامة في الجزء الثاني من قرارها ٥١/٢١٨ هاء المؤرخ ١٧ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٨ على نظام جديد للتأمين الذاتي؛ ووضعت معدلات نموذجية موحدة لدفع الاستحقاقات في حالتي وفاة أو عجز جنود عاملين في خدمة عمليات حفظ السلام التي تضطلع بها اﻷمم المتحدة؛ وقررت أن تسري المعدلات الجديدة على الحالات التي تقع بعد ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٧.

The General Assembly, in section II of its resolution 56/253 of 24 December 2001, inter alia, noted the importance of adopting efficient and effective management practices within the United Nations system, in particular by promoting cooperation, learning and comparison of experience between United Nations duty stations, so that optimal practices are widely adopted, as appropriate.

in section II of its resolution 57/174, the General Assembly called upon all States to adopt effective measures, including national laws and regulations, to implement the outcome and the goals of its twentieth special session, within the agreed time frame, to strengthen national judicial systems and to carry out effective drug control activities in cooperation with other States and in accordance with the United Nations drug control conventions.

3. Recalls its decision in section II of its resolution 59/269 to invite the Board to provide information on the special situation of pensioners living in countries having undergone dollarization and on possible proposals to attenuate the adverse consequences arising therefrom, and notes that the Board did not agree on a recommendation to attenuate the adverse consequences of pensioners living in countries having undergone dollarization;
