٥ - وكما جاء في المبادئ التوجيهية والنظام الداخلي للحلقة الدراسية A/AC.109/2042)(، فإن الغرض من الحلقة الدراسية هو تقييم الحالة في اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، ولا سيما تطورها سياسيا نحو الحكم الذاتي بحلول عام ٢٠٠٠.

5. As stated in the guidelines and rules of procedure for the Seminar (A/AC.109/2000/1), the purpose of the Seminar was to assess the situation in the Non-Self-Governing Territories, particularly their constitutional evolution towards self-determination by the year 2000.
5 - والغرض مــن الحلقـــة الدراسيــة، كما ورد في المبادئ التوجيهية والنظام الداخلي للحلقة الدراسية (A/AC.109/1999/2)، هو تقييم الحالة في الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، لا سيما تطورها الدستوري نحو تقرير المصير بحلول عام 2000.

As stated in the guidelines and rules of procedure for the seminar (A/AC.109/2006/1/Rev.1), the purpose of the seminar is to review the progress achieved in the implementation of the plan of action of the Second International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism, in order to define priorities for follow-up and intensified action in the remaining years of the Decade.
3 - ومثلما ورد في المبادئ التوجيهية والنظام الداخلي للحلقة الدراسية (A/AC.109/2006/1/Rev.1)، فإن الغرض من الحلقة الدراسية هو استعراض التقدم الذي أحرز في تنفيذ خطة العمل للعقد الدولي الثاني للقضاء على الاستعمار، بغرض تحديد الأولويات للمتابعة والعمل المكثف في السنوات الباقية من العقد.

3 - ومثلما ورد في المبادئ التوجيهية والنظام الداخلي للحلقة الدراسية (A/AC.109/2008/5)، فإن الغرض من الحلقة الدراسية هو استعراض التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ خطة عمل العقد الدولي الثاني للقضاء على الاستعمار، بغرض تحديد الإجراءات ذات الأولوية التي ستتخذ فيما تبقي من سنوات العقد.
