Many representatives and observers expressed their hope for the establishment of a just and comprehensive peace in the region in accordance with United Nations resolutions. It was suggested that a fact-finding mission should be sent to the region.
وأعرب ممثلون ومراقبون كثيرون عن رجائهم بإقامة سلام عادل وشامل في المنطقة وفقا لقرارات اﻷمم المتحدة واقترح ايفاد بعثة لتقصي الحقائق إلى المنطقة.

٠٣ - وتنص المادة ٤ من القانون اﻷساسي على أن تكفل منطقة هونغ كونغ اﻹدارية الخاصة حقوق وحريات سكان منطقة هونغ كونغ اﻹدارية الخاصة واﻷشخاص اﻵخرين في المنطقة وفقا للقانون.

The Conference endorses the view of the States of South-East Asia that progress towards the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone, which conforms to generally recognized international principles of such a zone, will reinforce nuclear-weapon non-proliferation in the region in accordance with articles I, II and VII of the Treaty.

(ii) Annex III, article 4, paragraph 4, which states that " The sponsoring State or States shall, pursuant to article 139, have the responsibility to ensure, within their legal systems, that a contractor so sponsored shall carry out activities in the Area in conformity with the terms of its contract and its obligations under this Convention " ;

The Majuro Declaration, which was adopted at the Conference, contained a commitment to establish a mechanism for the conservation and management of highly migratory fish stocks of the region in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and the 1995 Fish Stocks Agreement.
وتضمن إعلان ماجورو، الذي اعتمده المؤتمر، التزاما بإنشاء آلية لحفظ وإدارة اﻷرصدة السمكية الكثيرة الارتحال في المنطقة وفقا لاتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة لقانون البحار واتفاق اﻷرصدة السمكية لعام ١٩٩٥.
