٣٧ - وعلى النحو المشار إليه في تقاريري السابقة، تتحمل يونيتا وقيادتها في بايلوندو المسؤولية اﻷساسية عن اﻷزمة الراهنة.

He met with Mr. Savimbi in Bailundo on 19 March and with President dos Santos in Luanda the next day.

وفي ٢٤ آذار/مارس، اجتمعت بالسيد سافيمبي في بايلوندو حيث أجرينا حديثا صريحا على انفراد أسفر عن موافقة زعيم يونيتا على إرسال جميع من تبقى من نواب يونيتا في الجمعية الوطنية الى لواندا في ٢٥ آذار/مارس.

All the above-mentioned issues were considered in detail during my meeting with President dos Santos on 24 March. He welcomed the promising signs which had emerged from my talks in Bailundo.

٣ - يدعـو قيادة يونيتا إلى التعاون بصورة كاملة وفورية مع بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في أنغولا في سحب أفراد البعثة من أندولو وبايلوندو، ويحمﱢل قيادة يونيتا في بايلوندو مسؤولية كفالة سلامتهم وأمنهم؛

In response, the UNITA leadership in Bailundo issued a communiqué asserting that the suspension of its members was a flagrant violation of the Lusaka Protocol and stating that any attempt to reinstate them or change the membership of the Government of Unity and National Reconciliation should be done only with the consent of UNITA.
وردا على ذلك، أصدرت قيادة يونيتا في بايلوندو بلاغا وصفت فيه وقف أعضائها بأنه انتهاك صارخ لبروتوكول لوساكا، وذكرت أن أي محاولة ﻹعادة تعيينهم أو لتغيير عضوية حكومة الوحدة والمصالحة الوطنية لا ينبغي أن تتم بدون موافقة من يونيتا.

32. The international community has agreed that UNITA and its leadership in Bailundo bear the primary responsibility for the present crisis raging in Angola.
٣٢ - وقد اتفق المجتمع الدولي على أن يونيتا وزعامتها في بايلوندو تتحمل المسؤولية الرئيسية عن اﻷزمة الراهنة المستعرة في أنغولا.

19. During the reporting period, members of the United Nations Demobilization and Reintegration Office visited UNITA headquarters in Bailundo to discuss the humanitarian assistance component of the demobilization and reintegration programme.
١٩ - وخلال الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير، قام أعضاء مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة لتسريح الجنود وإعادة ادماجهم بزيارة لمقر اليونيتا في بايلوندو لمناقشة عنصر المساعدة الانسانية في برنامج التسريح وإعادة الادماج.

At the informal consultations of the whole held on 3 December 1998, the members of the Council heard clarifications from the Secretariat on efforts to ensure the security of MONUA personnel in Bailundo.
وفي المشاورات غير الرسمية للمجلس بكامل هيئته المعقودة في ٣ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٨، استمع أعضاء المجلس إلى إيضاحات من اﻷمانة العامة عن الجهود المبذولة لضمان أمن أفراد بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في أنغولا، في بايلوندو.

3. Calls upon the leadership of the União Nacional para a Independência Total de Angola to cooperate fully and immediately with the United Nations Observer Mission in Angola in the withdrawal of Mission personnel from Andulo and Bailundo, and holds the leadership of the União Nacional para a Independência Total de Angola in Bailundo responsible for their safety and security;
٣ - يدعـو قيادة الاتحاد الوطني للاستقلال التام ﻷنغولا إلى التعاون بصورة كاملة وفورية مع بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في أنغولا في سحب أفراد البعثة من أندولو وبايلوندو، ويحمﱢل قيادة يونيتا في بايلوندو مسؤولية كفالة سلامتهم وأمنهم؛

Mr. Savimbi promised that several UNITA officials designated to take up posts in the Government of Unity and National Reconciliation who were present in Bailundo would also arrive in Luanda on 25 March, on the same flight, to be arranged by the United Nations.
ووعد السيد سافيمبي بأن يذهب الى لواندا في ٢٥ آذار/ مارس، في نفس الرحلة التي من المقرر أن تتولى ترتيبها اﻷمم المتحدة عدد من مسؤولي يونيتا ممن عينوا لشغل مناصب في حكومة الوحدة الوطنية والمصالحة الوطنية ممن كانوا آنذاك في بايلوندو.
