As an example, any call for racial discrimination in the context of promoting religious or sectarian conflicts is considered an offence under the Omani Penal Code.

7. He must not have been convicted of a crime against State security, as defined in the Omani Penal Code.

168. In addition to the comments already made, article 276 bis of the Omani Penal Code punishes any person who deliberately uses a computer to commit acts, including violation of the privacy of third parties or infringement of their right to keep their secrets.
168- أن قانون الجزاء العماني إضافة لما سبق بيانه قد عاقب بالمادة 276 مكرراً من تعمد استخدام الحاسب الآلي لارتكاب أفعال منها انتهاك خصوصيات الغير أو التعدي على حقهم في الاحتفاظ بأسرارهم.

455. The Omani Penal Code promulgated by Royal Decree No. 7/74, as amended, contains provisions that take into account to the best interests of the child in various respects, details of which are set forth in the sections below.
455- إن قانون الجزاء العماني الصادر بالمرسوم السلطاني رقم 7/74 وتعديلاته احتوى نصوصاً تراعي سن الطفل الفضلى تعمل في جوانب متعددة ونفصل من خلال الفروع الآتية:

1.14 The jurisdiction of the Omani courts to consider any act committed outside the Sultanate by a foreign national who is in Oman is provided for in article 12 of the Omani Penal Code, which stipulates the following:

37. The provisions of the Omani Penal Code aim to eliminate racism and xenophobia, and the Government ratified the International Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Racial Discrimination.
37 - وتهدف أحكام قانون الجزاء العماني إلى القضاء على العنصرية وكراهية الأجانب، وقد صدقت الحكومة على الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري.

102. Sexual harassment is an offence under the Omani Criminal Code, promulgated by Royal Decree No. 7/74, whether it occurs in the workplace or elsewhere.
102- التحرش الجنسي مجرم في قانون الجزاء العماني الصادر بالمرسوم السلطاني رقم 7/74 سواءً وقع في مكان العمل أو خارجه.

70. The second defendant deliberately exploited the victim's vulnerability. He used it to lure her and, because of her situation, she was unable to refuse. The first defendant committed the offence of manslaughter, as defined in article 238 of the Omani Criminal Code.
70- وقد قام المتهم الثاني متعمداً باستغلال ضعف الضحية، حيث استخدمه في الصيد، وبسبب وضع الضحية لم يكن قادراً على الرفض، وقد أرتكب المتهم الأول جريمة عندما تسبب بغير قصد في موت شخص بموجب المادة 238 من قانون الجزاء العماني.

Accepted: Domestic violence, sexual harassment and forced marriage are prohibited by the legislation currently in force in Oman and are classified as criminal offences under the Omani Criminal Code issued by Royal Decree No. 7/74. Moreover, the reference to the honour killing defence has been removed from the Omani Criminal Code.
العنف المنزلي والتحرش الجنسي والزواج القسري، لا تقره التشريعات السارية في السلطنة، بل تجرمه، وفقاً لما يقضي به قانون الجزاء العماني الصادر بالمرسوم السلطاني رقم 7/74، أما القتل بدافع الشرف فقد تم إلغائه من قانون الجزاء العماني، وعليه فإن السلطنة تقبل بهذه التوصية.

Criminal responsibility begins at the age of nine years (sect. 104, Omani Penal Law), but a minor between 9 and 13 years of age may not be deprived of his freedom and may only be kept in a penitentiary designated by the judge up to his eighteenth birthday.
53- تبدأ سن المسؤولية الجزائية ببلوغ التاسعة من العمر (المادة 104 من قانون الجزاء العماني)، ولكن لا يحكم على القاصر ما بين التاسعة والثالثة عشرة من العمر بعقوبة سالبة للحرية بل يوضع في مؤسسة إصلاحية يعينها القاضي مدة لا تتجاوز إتمامه الثامنة عشرة.
