(e) International contract law: At its forty-fifth session, in 2012, the Commission considered the desirability of work in the area of international contract law on the basis of a proposal by Switzerland (A/CN.9/758).

(d) International contract law: The Secretariat has continued to promote the adoption and monitor the uniform interpretation of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna, 1980) ( " CISG " ) and has compiled citations to relevant documents in the field in the bibliography on its website.
