General Assembly resolution 61/190 on commodities reiterated the " importance of maximizing the contribution of the commodity sector to sustained economic growth and sustainable development " (para. 1).
وأعادت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 61/190 بشأن السلع الأساسية، تأكيد " أهمية تعظيم مساهمة قطاع السلع الأساسية في تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي المستمر والتنمية المستدامة " (الفقرة 1).

While General Assembly resolution 61/190 reiterated " the importance of maximizing the contribution of the commodity sector to sustained economic growth and sustainable development, while continuing with diversification efforts in commodity-dependent developing countries " , its resolution 63/207 also took note of Accra Accord adopted at UNCTAD XII as far as its part related to commodities is concerned.
وبينما أعاد قرار الجمعية العامة 61/190 تأكيد أهمية بلوغ الحد الأقصى للمساهمة التي يقدمها قطاع السلع الأساسية في تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي المطرد والتنمية المستدامة، مع مواصلة جهود التنويع في البلدان النامية التي تعتمد على السلع الأساسية " ، فإنها أحاطت علماً أيضاً في قرارها 63/207 باتفاق أكرا الذي اعتُمد في الأونكتاد الثاني عشر فيما يتعلق بجزئه الخاص بالسلع الأساسية.

While General Assembly resolution 61/190 reiterated " the importance of maximizing the contribution of the commodity sector to sustained economic growth and sustainable development, while continuing with diversification efforts in commodity-dependent developing countries " , its resolution 63/207 took also note of the Accra Accord adopted at UNCTAD XII as far as the part related to commodities is concerned.
وبينما أعاد قرار الجمعية العامة 61/190 تأكيد " أهمية بلوغ الحد الأقصى للمساهمة التي يقدمها قطاع السلع الأساسية في تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي المطرد والتنمية المستدامة، مع مواصلة جهود التنويع في البلدان النامية التي تعتمد على السلع الأساسية " ، فإنها أحاطت علماً أيضاً في قرارها 63/207 باتفاق أكرا الذي اعتُمد في دورة الأونكتاد الثانية عشرة فيما يتعلق بجزئه الخاص بالسلع الأساسية.

The General Assembly, in its resolution on commodities, 61/190, recalled the Millennium Development Goals and the other internationally agreed development goals, and reiterated " the importance of maximizing the contribution of the commodity sector to sustained economic growth and sustainable development, while continuing with diversification efforts in commodity-dependent developing countries " (para. 1).
وذكّرت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 61/190 المتعلق بالسلع الأساسية، بالأهداف الإنمائية للألفية وبأهداف التنمية الأخرى المتفق عليها دولياً فكررت التأكيد على " أهمية زيادة مساهمة قطاع السلع الأساسية في تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي المطرد والتنمية المستدامة إلى أقصى حد، مع مواصلة جهود التنويع في البلدان النامية التي تعتمد على السلع الأساسية " (الفقرة 1).

(c) The contribution of the commodity sector to sustainable development and economic diversification was increased as developing countries are increasingly demanding and utilizing UNCTAD expertise in revitalizing their commodities sector for sustainable development and diversification, including on commodity risk management and financial instruments.
