I take this opportunity to pay tribute to the State of Qatar for its efforts to that end.

The President (spoke in Arabic): On behalf of the General Assembly, I wish to thank the Amir of the State of Qatar for the statement he has just made.
الرئيس: باسم الجمعية العامة، أود أن أشكر صاحب السمو أمير دولة قطر على البيان الذي أدلى به للتو.

It encouraged Qatar to continue its active promotion of the rights of migrants and to strengthen national human rights institutions.
وشجعت قيرغيزستان قطر على مواصلة سعيها الحثيث إلى تعزيز حقوق المهاجرين وتعزيزها للمؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان.

It encouraged Qatar to continue its efforts to guarantee fundamental human rights and freedoms as enshrined in its Constitution.
وشجعت قطر على مواصلة جهودها لضمان حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية المنصوص عليها في الدستور.

The response of Qatar to these recommendations will be included in the outcome report adopted by the Human Rights Council at its fourteenth session:
وترد ردود قطر على هذه التوصيات في تقرير نتائج الاستعراض الذي سيعتمده مجلس حقوق الإنسان في دورته الرابعة عشرة:

Algeria congratulated Qatar on hosting the centre, and made recommendations.
وهنأت الجزائر قطر على استضافة المركز، وقدمت توصيات.

We also commend the delegation of the State of Qatar for organizing several initiatives that help to institutionalize the ICNRD and to ensure its sustainability in the future.
كما نحيِّي وفد دولة قطر على تنظيم عدة مبادرات تسهم في مأسسة المؤتمر وضمان استدامته في المستقبل.

The Council conveyed its gratitude to Saudi Arabia and to Qatar for the efforts they had made in connection with the talks, and it voiced satisfaction at the views expressed by the Iranian President during the talks.
كما أعرب المجلس عن الشكر لحكومة المملكة العربية السعودية ودولة قطر على ما قاما به من جهد في هذه المباحثات، وأعرب المجلس عن ارتياحه للتوجهات التي عبﱠر عنها الرئيس اﻹيراني في هذه المباحثات.

It encouraged Qatar to continue to implement policies and programmes designed to enhance and promote human rights.

Maldives congratulated Qatar on the measures taken to combat trafficking in persons and protect trafficking victims.

The Mediation has been working closely with the Government of Qatar on the possibility that peace talks may be held in Doha when the parties are ready to resume direct negotiations.
