وقد نتج عن جهود الدعوة التي تضطلع بها اليونيسيف حصول تعديلات في قوانين عمل الأطفال في عديد من البلدان، مما زاد في صرامة الجزاءات ضد أرباب العمل الذين ينتهكون القوانين المتصلة بالسن الدنيا، والحد الأقصى لساعات العمل، وأحوال السلامة في العمل.

In line with its previous recommendations, the Committee recommends that child labour laws be reviewed and implemented, labour inspectorates be strengthened and penalties be imposed in cases of violations in order to eliminate economic exploitation of children.
72- تمشياً مع التوصيات السابقة، توصي اللجنة بمراجعة قوانين عمل الأطفال وإنفاذها، وبتعزيز دور مفتشي العمل وفرض عقوبات في حالات الانتهاكات، وذلك توخياً للقضاء على الاستغلال الاقتصادي للأطفال.
