The functions of UNFICYP in pursuance of its mandate are:

Reiterating in particular its call to both sides to cooperate with UNFICYP in order to extend the unmanning agreement of 1989 to all areas of the United Nations-controlled Buffer Zone where the two sides are in close proximity to each other,
وإذ يكرر بصفة خاصة دعوته لكلا الجانبين الى التعاون مع قوة اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلم في قبرص بغية توسيع نطاق اتفاق عام ١٩٨٩ بشأن عدم وجود قوات ليشمل جميع اﻷماكن الواقعة ضمن المنطقة العازلة التي تسيطر عليها اﻷمم المتحدة والتي يقف فيها الجانبان على قرب شديد من بعضهما،

" 11. Reaffirms the important mandate entrusted to the United Nations Peace-keeping Force in Cyprus and looks forward to receiving the report on the Force that the Secretary-General proposes to submit in May 1992. "
" ١١ - يؤكد من جديد الولاية الهامة المسندة الى قوة اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلم في قبرص ويتطلع الى تلقي التقرير الذي يقترح اﻷمين العام تقديمه عن القوة في أيار/مايو ١٩٩٢. "
