It is very unfortunate that the Greek Cypriot leadership denies even the existence of the isolations and restrictions on the Turkish Cypriot people, in complete disregard of the fact that international organizations like the United Nations, the European Union, the Council of Europe and the Organization of the Islamic Conference as well as individual States have called for the lifting of the isolations.
وإنه لمن دواعي الأسف الشديد أن قيادة القبارصة اليونانيين تنكر حتى وجود العزلة والقيود المفروضة على الشعب القبرصي التركي، غاضة الطرف تماما عن أن منظمات دولية مثل الأمم المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي ومجلس أوروبا ومنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي وفرادى الدول تنادي برفع هذه العزلة.

It does not instil confidence in the Turkish Cypriot people regarding the sincerity of the Greek Cypriot leadership towards a fair and mutually acceptable settlement in Cyprus when the Greek Cypriot leadership denies the existence of the isolations on the one hand and tries to prevent any attempt aimed at the lifting of the isolations of the Turkish Cypriot people on the other.
فليس من شأن نكران قيادة القبارصة اليونانيين لوجود هذه العزلة من جهة، ومحاولتها منع أية جهود لرفعها عن الشعب القبرصي التركي من جهة أخرى، أن يزرع الثقة في قلب القبارصة الأتراك بأن قيادة القبارصة اليونانيين صادقة في سعيها إلى تسوية منصفة ومرضية للطرفين في قبرص.

This is another indication that the priority of the Greek Cypriot leadership is not the solution of the Cyprus problem, but the further exploitation and consolidation of its usurped title as the " Government of the Republic of Cyprus " .
وهذا مؤشر آخر إلى أن قيادة القبارصة اليونانيين لا تولي الأولوية لحل المشكلة القبرصية وإنما توليها لمتابعة استغلال وترسيخ لقب " حكومة جمهورية قبرص " الذي اغتصبته.

This is, indeed, the kind of solution that the Greek Cypriot leadership is seeking by exploiting its advantageous position vis-à-vis the Turkish Cypriot side as the " Government of the Republic of Cyprus " and member of the European Union.
فهذا هو نوع الحل الذي تسعى إليه قيادة القبارصة اليونانيين من خلال استغلال امتياز وضعها على وضع الجانب القبرصي التركي باعتبارها " حكومة جمهورية قبرص " والعضو في الاتحاد الأوروبي.

I believe that the prospect for a settlement in Cyprus, which unfortunately is already not promising owing to the lack of political will on the part of the Greek Cypriot leadership, will be further and seriously damaged if the parties interested in the settlement of the Cyprus problem continue to remain silent in the face of such provocative and counterproductive statements made by the Greek Cypriot leadership.
وأعتقد أن آفاق التسوية في قبرص، وهي للأسف لا تبشر من الآن بالخير وذلك لعدم وجود الإرادة السياسية لدى قيادة القبارصة اليونانيين، ستتضرر أكثر وبشكل أخطر إذا بقيت الأطراف المهتمة بإيجاد تسوية لمسألة قبرص على صمتها أمام هذه الأقوال الاستفزازية، ذات النتائج العكسية، من جانب قيادة القبارصة اليونانيين.
