11. The Group recalls resolution 65/68 of the General Assembly of the United Nations on " Transparency and confidence-building measures in outer space activities. " , which requested the Secretary-General to establish a group of governmental experts to conduct a study, commencing this year, on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures.
11- وتشير المجموعة إلى قرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة 65/68 بشأن " تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي " ، الذي يطلب إلى الأمين العام أن ينشئ فريقاً من الخبراء الحكوميين ليجري دراسة تبدأ في هذا العام بشأن تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في مجال الفضاء الخارجي.

The Committee noted that the General Assembly, in paragraph 2 of its resolution 65/68, had requested the Secretary-General to establish, on the basis of equitable geographical distribution, a group of governmental experts to conduct a study, commencing in 2012, on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures.
58- ولاحظت اللجنة أنَّ الجمعية العامة قد طلبت من الأمين العام، في الفقرة 2 من قرارها 65/68، أن يُنشئ، على أساس التوزيع الجغرافي العادل، فريقا من الخبراء الحكوميين ليجري دراسة ابتداء من عام 2012 بشأن تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في مجال الفضاء الخارجي.

11. The Group takes note of the United Nations General Assembly resolution 65/68 on " Transparency and confidence-building measures in outer space activities. " , which requests the Secretary-General to establish a group of governmental experts to conduct a study, commencing in 2012, on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures.
11- وتحيط المجموعة علماً بقرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة 65/68 بشأن " تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي " ، الذي يطلب إلى الأمين العام أن ينشئ فريقاً من الخبراء الحكوميين ليجري دراسة تبدأ في عام 2012 بشأن تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في مجال الفضاء الخارجي.

55. The Group of Governmental Experts on Transparency and Confidence-Building Measures in Outer Space Activities, established in 2012 pursuant to General Assembly resolution 65/68 with the purpose of conducting a study on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures, held three week-long sessions between July 2012 to July 2013.
55- وعقد فريق الخبراء الحكوميين المعني بتدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي، الذي أُنشئ في عام 2012 عملاً بقرار الجمعية العامة 65/68 بهدف إجراء دراسة بشأن تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في مجال الفضاء الخارجي، ثلاث دورات دام كل منها أسبوعاً، وذلك في الفترة ما بين تموز/يوليه 2012 وتموز/يوليه 2013.

The view was expressed that the work to be conducted by the group of governmental experts on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures, which was due to commence its work in July 2012, could contribute to the work of the Working Group, taking into consideration the two groups' shared goals of promoting stability, safety and security in the space environment.
184- ورُئي أنَّ الأعمال التي سيضطلع بها فريق الخبراء الحكوميين المعني بتدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في مجال الفضاء الخارجي، الذي من المنتظر أن يبدأ عمله في تموز/يوليه عام 2012، يمكن أن تسهم في أعمال الفريق العامل نظراً لاشتراك الفريقين في الأهداف المتمثّلة في تعزيز الاستقرار والسلامة والأمان في بيئة الفضاء.

At its sixty-fifth session, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to establish, on the basis of equitable geographical distribution, a group of governmental experts to conduct a study, commencing in 2012, on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures, and to submit to the Assembly at its sixty-eighth session a report with an annex containing the study of governmental experts (resolution 65/68).

1. Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 65/68, the Secretary-General established the Group of Governmental Experts on Transparency and Confidence-Building Measures in Outer Space Activities, on the basis of equitable geographical representation, with the purpose of conducting a study on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures, making use of the relevant reports of the Secretary-General.
1 - عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 65/68، أنشأ الأمين العام فريق الخبراء الحكوميين المعني بتدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي، على أساس التمثيل الجغرافي العادل، بهدف إجراء دراسة بشأن تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في مجال الفضاء الخارجي، مع الاستفادة من التقارير ذات الصلة المقدمة من الأمين العام.

11. The Group of 21 takes note of the completion of the work of the Group of Governmental Experts and the adoption of a study on outer space transparency and confidence-building measures as requested by resolution 65/68 of the General Assembly of the United Nations on " Transparency and confidence-building measures in outer space activities. " , which will be submitted to sixty-eighth session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
11- وتحيط مجموعة ال21 علماً بانتهاء عمل فريق الخبراء الحكوميين واعتماد دراسة عن تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في مجال الفضاء الخارجي حسبما طلبت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في قرارها 65/68 بشأن " تدابير كفالة الشفافية وبناء الثقة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي " ، وهي الدراسة التي ستُقدَّم إلى الجمعية في دورتها الثامنة والستين.
