Two SCF members were nominated to participate in the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts, who will attend the meetings of the Executive Committee in their personal expert capacity.

The SBSTA and the SBI, in accordance with decision 2/CP.19, initiated their consideration of the composition of, and procedures for, the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts, with a view to finalizing the organization and governance of the Executive Committee.

93. The SBSTA and the SBI, in accordance with decision 2/CP.19, initiated their consideration of the composition of, and procedures for, the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts, with a view to finalizing the organization and governance of the Executive Committee.
٩٣- باشرت الهيئتان الفرعيتان، وفقاً للمقرر 2/م أ-19، النظر في تشكيلة اللجنة التنفيذية لآلية وارسو الدولية المعنية بالخسائر والأضرار المرتبطة بتأثيرات تغير المناخ وفي الإجراءات الخاصة بها، بغية استكمال تنظيم اللجنة التنفيذية وإدارتها.

(l) The Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts has 10 interim members, of whom three are women: two from Annex I Parties and one from SIDS.

1. The Conference of the Parties (COP), at its nineteenth session, established the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts, which is to function under the guidance of, and be accountable to, the COP, to guide the implementation of the functions of the Warsaw International Mechanism.

(b) The work related to approaches to address loss and damage associated with climate change impacts in developing countries that are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change, including the work of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts;
