The Personnel Management and Support Service of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations of the Secretariat should provide support in order to expedite the recruitment of personnel and the filling of vacancies.
وينبغي لدائرة إدارة شؤون الموظفين والدعم التابعة لإدارة عمليات حفظ السلام في الأمانة العامة أن تقدم الدعم من أجل التعجيل بتوظيف الموظفين وملء الشواغر.

A brochure entitled " United Nations standards and norms in crime prevention and criminal justice for peacekeepers " was issued in July 2007 and distributed to all missions of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations of the Secretariat with a civilian police element.

At the same meeting, in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations, the Council also decided to extend invitations, under rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure, to Mr. Alain Le Roy, UnderSecretaryGeneral for Peacekeeping Operations, and Lieutenant General Chikadibia Obiakor, Military Adviser of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations of the Secretariat.
