8. There are now 1.124 million registered Syrian refugees in Lebanon who have fled the war in the Syrian Arab Republic, an increase of 30,000 since my last report.

As at 20 June, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and partners, including the Government of Lebanon, were providing assistance to over 27,000 Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
