The Special Committee calls on the Government of Israel to end discriminatory water distribution practices in the occupied Syrian Golan and to desist from issuing drilling licences to companies for oil and gas exploration, which amounts to the legitimization of exploitation of natural resources in the occupied Syrian Golan and hence a violation of the obligations of Israel as an occupying Power.
