With the present issues note, UNCTAD contributes to the forthcoming Follow-up International Conference on Financing for Development to Review the Implementation of the Monterrey Consensus, to be held in Doha, as well as to the ongoing debate on, inter alia, the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

(f) Implement, as appropriate, relevant outcomes from the Follow-up International Conference on Financing for Development to Review the Implementation of the Monterrey Consensus (Doha), the Fourth UN Conference on Least Developed Countries (UN LDC-IV), the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (Busan) and the G20 Summit (Cannes).
(و) القيام حسب الاقتضاء بتفعيل النتائج ذات الصلة التي خلص إليها مؤتمر المتابعة الدولي لتمويل التنمية المتعلق باستعراض تنفيذ توافق آراء مونتيري (الدوحة)، ومؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الرابع المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً، والمنتدى الرابع رفيع المستوى بشأن فعالية المعونة (بوسان) واجتماع قمة مجموعة العشرين (كان).

In that context, references were made to the possibility of convening an UNCTAD event to meet this demand and, more importantly, to contribute to the preparatory process for the Follow-up International Conference on Financing for Development to Review the Implementation of the Monterrey Consensus, to be held in Doha in late November 2008.
وأُشير في هذا الصدد إلى إمكانية الدعوة إلى تنظيم حدث للأونكتاد لتلبية هذا المطلب ولما هو أهم من ذلك وهو الإسهام في العملية التحضيرية لمؤتمر المتابعة الدولي لتمويل التنمية المتعلق باستعراض تنفيذ توافق آراء مونتيري المزمع عقده بالدوحة في أواخر شهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2008.

An executive session of the Trade and Development Board was held on 13 November 2008 with the objective of formulating inputs to the preparation of the Follow-up International Conference on Financing for Development to Review the Implementation of the Monterrey Consensus in Doha, Qatar, from 29 November to 2 December 2008.
3- عقد مجلس التجارة والتنمية دورته التنفيذية في 13 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2008 بهدف صياغة مساهمات للتحضير لمؤتمر المتابعة الدولي لتمويل التنمية المتعلق باستعراض تنفيذ توافق آراء مونتيري، الذي سيُعقد في الدوحة، قطر، في الفترة من 29 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر إلى 2 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2008.
