The President made a statement to the press indicating support for the recommendation of the Secretary-General to extend the mandate of MINURCA for a period of two months, until 15 September.
وأدلى الرئيس ببيان للصحافة أوضح فيه دعم المجلس لتوصية اﻷمين العام بتمديد ولاية البعثة لشهرين آخرين حتى ١٥ أيلول/سبتمبر.

1. Decides to extend the mandate of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) until 20 October 1997, in accordance with the recommendation of the Secretary-General contained in his report;
١ - يقرر تمديد فترة ولاية بعثة اﻷمم المتحدة للاستفتاء في الصحراء الغربية حتى ٢٠ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٧، وفقا لتوصية اﻷمين العام الواردة في تقريره؛

Mention is also made of the 1994 decision to establish the United Nations Mission for the Verification of Human Rights and of Compliance with the Commitments of the Comprehensive Agreement on Human Rights in Guatemala, in accordance with the recommendation of the Secretary-General.
وهناك إشارة واردة أيضا الى قرار عام ١٩٩٤ بإنشاء بعثة اﻷمم المتحدة للتحقق من حالة حقوق اﻹنسان ومن الامتثال للالتزامات الواردة في الاتفاق الشامــــل بشأن حقوق الانسان في غواتيمالا، وفقا لتوصية اﻷمين العام.

In that regard, we urge the parties to cooperate and facilitate early implementation of the Secretary-General's recommendation on the expansion of the mandate of MONUC.
وفي ذلك الصدد، نحث الأطراف على التعاون وتيسير التنفيذ المبكر لتوصية الأمين العام بشأن توسيع ولاية البعثة.

3. In its resolution 49/236 A of 31 March 1995, the General Assembly decided to authorize the renewal of the mandate of the Mission for a further period of six months, in accordance with the recommendation of the Secretary-General (A/49/860).
٣ - وقررت الجمعية العامة، بقرارها ٤٩/٢٣٦ ألف المؤرخ ٣١ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٥، اﻹذن بتجديد ولاية تلك البعثة لفترة أخرى أمدها ستة أشهر، وذلك وفقا لتوصية اﻷمين العام (A/49/860).

At the close of the meeting, Council members, meeting informally, exchanged comments on the report and voiced their unanimous support for the Secretary-General's recommendation to renew the mandate of UNDOF for six months.
