Following consideration of the information, the representatives of Australia and the United States had proposed a draft decision that would, among other things, encourage the Panel to continue its implementation of the revised terms of reference as approved by the parties in decision XXIV/8 and provide information on its proposed configuration and processes for the nomination of members to its technical options committees.

In decision XXV/6 the Meeting of the Parties requested the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel to provide an update on its processes for the nomination of the members of its technical options committees, its proposed configuration of those committees from 1 January 2015, and options, if considered appropriate, for streamlining the Panel's annual technology updates to the parties.
18 - في المقرر 25/6 طلب اجتماع الأطراف إلى فريق التكنولوجيا والتقييم الاقتصادي الإبلاغ عن آخر مستجدات عمليات ترشيح الأعضاء في لجان الخيارات التقنية التابعة له وتشكيلته المقترحة لها اعتباراً من 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2015، والخيارات المتاحة لتبسيط التقارير التكنولوجية السنوية المستكملة المقدمة إلى الأطراف، إذا رأى ذلك مناسباً.

In Decision XXIV/8, TEAP takes the opportunity to consider the near- and long-term issues related to the on-going transition under the Protocol and recommend a re-configuration of its TOCs to support Parties' deliberations and decisions on these issues.
