6. The Commission, taking into account the recommendations put forward by the Expert Meeting on the Use of Information Technologies to make transit arrangements more effective in its report TD/B/COM.3/5, agreed on the following specific recommendations:
٦- تحيط اللجنة علماً بالتوصيات التي تقدم بها اجتماع الخبراء المعني باستخدام تكنولوجيات المعلومات لجعل ترتيبات المرور العابر أكثر كفاءة في تقريره TD/B/COM.3/5، وتتفق على التوصيات المحددة التالية:

35. The two Expert Meetings on the Use of Information Technologies to make transit arrangements more effective and on Telecommunications, Business Facilitation and Trade Efficiency had been successful and had resulted in practical recommendations which should be endorsed by the Commission.
٥٣- وقال إن اجتماع الخبراء المتعلق باستخدام تكنولوجيات المعلومات لجعل ترتيبات المرور العابر أكثر كفاءة واجتماع الخبراء المتعلق بالاتصالات وتيسير اﻷعمال التجارية والكفاءة في التجارة كانا ناجحين وأسفرا عن توصيات عملية ينبغي أن تقرها اللجنة.

The Expert Meeting will have before it for consideration document by the UNCTAD secretariat entitled " Use of information technologies to make transit arrangements more effective " TD/B/COM.3/EM.1/2.
٥ - وستُعرض على اجتماع الخبراء، وثيقة أعدتها اﻷمانة بعنوان " استخدام تكنولوجيات المعلومات لجعل ترتيبات المرور العابر أكثر كفاءة " TD/B/COM.3/EM.1/2)( لينظر فيها.

(i) Use of information technologies to make transit arrangements more effective: 7-9 April 1997; transit and transport facilitation issues should be considered from a technical point of view, in the broad context of trade and development, with special focus on the specific problems of land-locked and access-granting countries;
' ١ ' استخدام تكنولوجيات المعلومات لجعل ترتيبات المرور العابر أكثر كفاءة: ٧-٩ نيسان/أبريل ٧٩٩١؛ وينبغي النظر في قضايا المرور العابر وتيسير النقل من وجهة نظر تقنية في السياق العام للتجارة والتنمية مع التركيز بوجه خاص على المشاكل المحددة التي تواجهها البلدان التي لا منافذ لها على البحار والبلدان المانحة للعبور؛

5. The Meeting believed that UNCTAD should, in cooperation with all other interested parties, work towards developing a transit module, in the context of ASYCUDA and ACIS, which would incorporate the structure of messaging systems outlined in the paper “Use of information technologies to make transit arrangements more effective” (TD/B/COM.3/EM.1/2 and Add.1).
٥- رأى الاجتماع أنه ينبغي لﻷونكتاد أن يعمل، بالتعاون مع جميع اﻷطراف المهتمة اﻷخرى، من أجل وضع وحدة مرور عابر، في سياق النظام اﻵلي لتجهيز البيانات الجمركية واسترجاعها ونظام المعلومات المسبقة عن البضائع، تضم هيكل نُظم إرسال الرسائل المبين في الورقة المعنونة " استخدام تكنولوجيات المعلومات لجعل ترتيبات المرور العابر أكثر كفاءة " TD/B/COM.3/EM.1/2) و(Add.1.

In accordance with the agreed conclusions adopted by the Commission on Enterprise, Business Facilitation and Development at the closing meeting of its first session on 24 January 1997,2/ the Expert Meeting on the Use of Information Technologies to make transit arrangements more effective was held at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, from 5 to 7 May 1997.
عملا بالاستنتاجات المتفق عليها التي اعتمدتها لجنة المشاريع وتيسير اﻷعمال التجارية والتنمية في الجلسة الختامية لدورتها اﻷولى، وهي الجلسة المعقودة في ٤٢ كانون الثاني/يناير ٧٩٩١)٢(، عقد اجتماع الخبراء المعني باستخدام تكنولوجيات المعلومات لجعل ترتيبات المرور العابر أكثر كفاءة في جنيف، في الفترة من ٥ إلى ٧ أيار/مايو ٧٩٩١.
