II. Proposals for commemorating the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly on public administration and development
ثانيا - مقترحات للاحتفال بالذكرى السنوية العاشرة لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين المستأنفة بشأن الإدارة العامة والتنمية

Preparation for and servicing of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly on public administration and development will be also the responsibility of this subprogramme.
وستتضمن مسؤولية هذا البرنامج الفرعي أيضا التحضير وتقديم الخدمات لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين المستأنفة المكرسة لﻹدارة العامة والتنمية.

" 7. Requests the Secretary-General to organize a special event in 2006 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly on public administration and development;

6. Requests the Secretary-General to make proposals for commemorating the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly, on public administration and development, during the sixty-first session of the General Assembly, in 2006;

1. The item entitled " Education and information for disarmament " was included in the provisional agenda of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly in accordance with Assembly resolution 48/64 of 16 December 1993.
١ - أدرج البند المعنون " التعليم واﻹعلام من أجل نزع السلاح " في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين بموجب قرار الجمعية ٨٤/٤٦ المؤرخ ٦١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٣٩٩١.

1. The item entitled " Scientific and technological developments and their impact on international security " was included in the provisional agenda of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly in accordance with Assembly resolution 49/67 of 15 December 1994.
١ - أدرج البند المعنون " التطورات العلمية والتكنولوجية وآثارها على اﻷمن الدولي " في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين وفقا لقرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/٦٧ المؤرخ ١٥ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٤.

1. The item entitled " Strengthening of security and cooperation in the Mediterranean region " was included in the provisional agenda of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly in accordance with Assembly resolution 49/81 of 15 December 1994.
١ - أدرج البند المعنون " تعزيز اﻷمن والتعاون في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط " في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين وفقا لقرار الجمعية ٤٩/٨١ المؤرخ ١٥ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤.

1. The item entitled " Rationalization of the work and reform of the agenda of the First Committee " was included in the provisional agenda of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly in accordance with Assembly resolution 49/85 of 15 December 1994.
١ - أدرج البند المعنون " ترشيد أعمال اللجنة اﻷولى وتعديل جدول أعمالها " في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين عملا بقرار الجمعية ٤٩/٨٥ المؤرخ ١٥ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤.

4. Encourages the Secretary-General to make arrangements for the implementation of the proposals made for the commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly, on public administration and development;

1. The item entitled " Verification in all its aspects, including the role of the United Nations in the field of verification " was included in the provisional agenda of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly in accordance with Assembly resolution 48/68 of 16 December 1993.
١ - أدرج البند المعنون " التحقق بجميع جوانبه، بما في ذلك دور اﻷمم المتحدة في ميدان التحقق " في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين وفقا لقرار الجمعية ٨٤/٨٦ المؤرخ ٦١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٣٩٩١.

As requested by the General Assembly in its resolution 58/231, the present report outlines proposals for commemorating, during the sixty-first session of the General Assembly in 2006, the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly on public administration and development.
كما طلبت الجمعية في قرارها 58/231، يجمل هذا التقرير مقترحات للاحتفال، أثناء الدورة الحادية والستين للجمعية العامة في عام 2006، بالذكرى السنوية العاشرة لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين المستأنفة بشأن الإدارة العامة والتنمية.

(a) To make proposals for commemorating the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly on public administration and development, during the sixty-first session of the General Assembly, in 2006;
(أ) أن يقدم مقترحات للاحتفال بالذكرى السنوية العاشرة لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين المستأنفة بشـأن الإدارة العامة والتنمية، وذلك خلال دورة الجمعية العامة الحادية والستين في عام 2006؛

5. The commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly on public administration and development could be an opportune time to evaluate the progress made in revitalizing public administration and to share successful experiences that have contributed to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
5 - ويمكن أن يتيـح الاحتفال بالذكرى السنوية العاشرة لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين المستأنفة بشـأن الإدارة العامة والتنميـة فرصـة مواتيــة لتقييم التقدم المحرز في تنشيط الإدارة العامة وتشاطر الخبرات الناجحة التي أسهمت في تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية.

My delegation welcomes with great satisfaction the proposals concerning the commemoration in 2006 of the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly on public administration and development, contained in the report in document A/59/346.
يرحب وفد بلدي مع الارتياح الكبير بالمقترحات المتعلقة بإحياء الذكرى السنوية العاشرة عام 2006 لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين المستأنفة بشأن الإدارة العامة والتنمية، المتضمنة في التقرير الوارد في الوثيقة A/59/346.

6. Requests the Secretary-General to make proposals for commemorating the tenth anniversary of the resumed fiftieth session of the General Assembly, on public administration and development, during the sixty-first session of the General Assembly, in 2006;
6 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم مقترحات للاحتفال بالذكرى السنوية العاشرة لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين المستأنفة المتعلقة بالإدارة والتنمية، وذلك خلال دورة الجمعية العامة الحادية والستين في عام 2006؛

10. Requests the Secretary-General to transmit to the Disarmament Commission the annual report of the Conference on Disarmament, Official Records of the General Assembly, Fiftieth Session, Supplement No. 27 (A/50/27). together with all the official records of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly relating to disarmament matters, and to render all assistance that the Commission may require for implementing the present resolution;
١٠ - تطلب إلـى اﻷميـن العــام أن يحيــل إلى هيئـة نزع السـلاح التقريـر السنوي لمؤتمر نزع السلاح)١٦( مشفوعا بجميع الوثائق الرسمية لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين فيما يتصل بمسائل نزع السلاح، وأن يقدم إلى الهيئة كل ما قد تحتاج إليه من المساعدة لتنفيذ هذا القرار؛

" 10. Requests the Secretary-General to transmit to the Disarmament Commission the annual report of the Conference on Disarmament, 5/ together with all the official records of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly relating to disarmament matters, and to render all assistance that the Commission may require for implementing the present resolution;
" ١٠ - تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يحيل الى هيئة نزع السلاح التقرير السنوي لمؤتمر نزع السلاح)٥( مشفوعا بجميع الوثائق الرسمية لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين فيما يتصل بمسائل نزع السلاح، وأن يقدم الى الهيئة كل ما قد تحتاج إليه من المساعدة لتنفيذ هذا القرار؛

18. Pursuant to paragraph 10 of General Assembly resolution 50/72 D, the Secretary-General, by a note dated 1 February 1996, transmitted to the Disarmament Commission the annual report of the Conference on Disarmament 5/ together with all the official records of the fiftieth session of the General Assembly relating to disarmament matters (A/CN.10/192).
١٨ - عملا بالفقرة ١٠ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٠/٧٢ دال، أحال اﻷمين العام إلى هيئة نزع السلاح، بمذكرة مؤرخة ١ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٦، التقرير السنوي لمؤتمر نزع السلاح مشفوعا بجميع الوثائق الرسمية لدورة الجمعية العامة الخمسين فيما يتعلق بمسائل نزع السلاح (A/CN.10/192).
