The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions points out that, while each field mission operates under its own unique circumstances, there are similarities among missions.

9. He drew the Committee's attention to section VI of General Assembly resolution 45/248 B, in which the Assembly had reaffirmed that the Fifth Committee was the appropriate Main Committee of the General Assembly entrusted with responsibilities for administrative and budgetary matters; and had reaffirmed also the role of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions.
9 - ووجّه النظر إلى الفرع السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء حيث أعادت الجمعية العامة فيه التأكيد على أن اللجنة الخامسة هي اللجنة الرئيسية الملائمة للجمعية العامة المسؤولة عن المسائل الإدارية والمسائل المتعلقة بالميزانية؛ وأعاد تأكيد دور اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارية والميزانية.
