وإذ تحيط علما بالملاحظة التي أبدتها اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٢٠ من تقريرها)١١(،

1. Notes with deep concern the mishandling of this matter by the Administration, as observed by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 4 of its report;2
١ - تحيط علما مع بالغ القلق بسوء تصرف اﻹدارة في هذه المسألة، على نحو ما رأته اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٤ من تقريرها)٢(؛

وإذ تحيط علما بالملاحظة التي أبدتها اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٢٠ من تقريرها)١٠(،

The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, in paragraph 15 of its report of 28 May 1997 (A/51/910), recommended that the General Assembly appropriate $44.6 million gross for the period.
وأوصت اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ١٥ من تقريرها المؤرخ ٢٨ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٧ A/51/910)( بأن تعتمد الجمعية العامة مبلغا إجماليه ٤٤,٦ مليون دولار للفترة المذكورة.

3. Endorses the opinions of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions contained in paragraph 17 of its report;
3 - تؤيد الآراء التي أعربت عنها اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية في الفقرة 17 من تقريرها()؛

2. Endorses the view expressed by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 10 of its report4 that the report of the Secretary-General does not provide sufficient information at this stage to allow the General Assembly to recommend the endorsement of a full-fledged development of a cost-accounting system;
٢ - تؤيد الرأي الذي أعربت عنه اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ١٠ من تقريرها والذي يتضمن أن تقرير اﻷمين العام لا يقدم في المرحلة الحالية معلومات كافية تمكﱢن الجمعية العامة من التوصية بتأييد وضع نظام لحساب التكاليف على نحو مكتمل؛

27. The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, in paragraph 9 of its report on the financing of UNOMIL of 9 April 1996 (A/50/922), referred to the absence of performance reports.
٢٧- أشارت اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٩ من التقرير المؤرخ ٩ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٦ الذي قدمته عن تمويل البعثة (A/50/922)، الى عدم وجود تقارير اﻷداء.

The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, in paragraph 19 of its report (A/49/766/Add.1) dated 2 June 1995, recommended acceptance of the cost estimates as presented.
وأوصت اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٩١ من تقريرها )A/49/766/Add.1( المؤرخ ٢ حزيران/يونيه ٥٩٩١، بقبول تقديرات التكاليف بالصيغة التي قدمت بها.

8. In accordance with the request made by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 14 of its report A/51/423 of 27 September 1996, the inventory of equipment looted from UNOMIL is presented in annex VI.
٨ - ووفقا لطلب اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ١٤ من تقريرها A/51/423 المؤرخ ٢٧ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٦، يرد جرد المعدات التي نُهبت من بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في ليبريا في المرفق السادس.

96. Endorses the restoration of one P-4 post and one General Service post in the Examinations and Tests Section as recommended by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph VIII.34 of its first report on the proposed programme budget;A/52/7 (chap. II, Part VIII).
٩٦ - تؤيد إعادة وظيفة واحدة برتبة ف - ٤ ووظيفة واحدة من فئة الخدمات العامة في قسم الامتحانــات والاختبــارات وفقا لما أوصت به اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ثامنــا - ٣٤ من تقريرها اﻷول عن الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة)١٧(؛

1. The present note is prepared pursuant to the request made by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 104 of its first report on the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2000-2001.1

Takes note of the observations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 77 of its report 3/ regarding the advisability of extending the duration of duty and timing of rotation of military personnel serving in peace-keeping operations, and the views expressed by Member States;
٢ - تحيط علما بالملاحظات التي أبدتها اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٧٧ من تقريرها)٣( بشأن استصواب تمديد مدة خدمة اﻷفراد العسكريين الذين يخدمون في عمليات حفظ السلم وتوقيت تناوبهم، وباﻵراء التي أعربت عنها الدول اﻷعضاء؛

2. Takes note of the observations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 77 of its report 3/ regarding the advisability of extending the duration of duty and the timing of rotation of military personnel serving in peace-keeping operations, and the views expressed by Member States;
٢ - تحيط علما بالملاحظات التي أبدتها اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٧٧ من تقريرها)٣( بشأن استصواب تمديد مدة خدمة اﻷفراد العسكريين في عمليات حفظ السلام وتوقيت تناوبهم، وباﻵراء التي أبدتها الدول اﻷعضاء؛

He recalled the recommendation made by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 28 of its report (A/51/7/Add.1) that staff regulation 9.1 should be clarified to ensure that " reduction of staff " was used only as a consequence of abolition of post, and sought an explanation of how that regulation was being implemented.
وأشار إلى التوصية الصادرة عن اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٢٨ من تقريرها (A/51/7/Add.1)، الداعية إلى توضيح نص البند ٩-١ من المادة التاسعة من النظام اﻷساسي للموظفين لضمان عدم إجراء أي " تخفيض في عدد الموظفين " إلا نتيجة إلغاء وظيفة.

2. Endorses the view expressed by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 10 of its report5 that the report of the Secretary-General does not provide sufficient information at this stage to allow the General Assembly to endorse the full-fledged development of a cost-accounting system;
٢ - تؤيد الرأي الذي أعربت عنه اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ١٠ من تقريرها)٥( ومفاده أن تقرير اﻷمين العام لا يقدم في المرحلة الحالية معلومات كافية تمكﱢن الجمعية العامة من تأييد وضع نظام لحساب التكاليف على نحو مكتمل؛

96. ٩٦ - تؤيد إعادة وظيفة واحدة برتبة ف - ٤ ووظيفة واحدة من فئة الخدمات العامة في قسم الامتحانــات والاختبــارات وفقا لما أوصت به اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ثامنــا - ٣٤ من تقريرها اﻷول عن الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة)١٤(؛

The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, in paragraph 8 of its report (A/50/7/Add.11), agreed with the proposal of the Secretary-General that the increase in the level of the education grant (including that for disabled children), approved by the Assembly in resolution 49/223 of 23 December 1994, be extended to members of the Court as from 1 January 1995.
وقد وافقت اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية في الفقرة ٨ من تقريرها (A/50/7/Add.11) على اقتراح اﻷمين العام توسيع نطاق الزيادة في مستوى منحة التعليم )بما فيها منحة اﻷطفال المعوقين( التي وافقت عليها الجمعية العامة في القرار ٤٩/٢٢٣ المؤرخ ٢٣ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٤، بحيث يشمل أعضاء المحكمة اعتبارا من ١ كانون الثاني/ يناير ١٩٩٥.
