All flights within the airspace of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus take place with the knowledge and consent of the appropriate authorities of the State, and the Greek Cypriot usurper regime in the south has no jurisdiction or right of say over this matter.
وتجري جميع الرحلات الجوية داخل المجال الجوي للجمهورية التركية لشمالي قبرص بعلم وموافقة السلطات الملائمة في الدولة، وليس لنظام الحكم اليوناني القبرصي المغتصب في الجنوب أي ولاية قضائية أو حق في التكلم بشأن هذه المسألة.

Raşid, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, would be circulated as a document of the General Assembly, under agenda item 51, and of the Security Council.
وأرجو ممتنا لو تتفضلوا بتعميم نـص هـذه الرسالة ومرفقها الذي يتضمن رسالـة مؤرخـة ٢٩ آذار/ مارس ١٩٩٥ موجهة إليكم من معالي أتاي أ. رشيد وزير الخارجية والدفاع للجمهورية التركية لشمالي قبرص بوصفهما وثيقة من وثائق الجمعية العامة في إطار البند ٥١، ومن وثائق مجلس اﻷمن.

50. Ms. Güray (Turkey), speaking in exercise of the right of reply, said that a response to the comments by the delegation of Cyprus would be made by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
٠٥ - السيدة غوراي )تركيا(: تكلمت ممارسة حق الرد، فقالت إن الجمهورية التركية لشمالي قبرص ستتولى الرد على تعليقات وفد قبرص.

51. Mr. Zackheos (Cyprus), speaking in exercise of the right of reply, stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was a secessionist entity condemned by the Security Council in its resolutions and that the only legitimate Government of that territory was the Republic of Cyprus.
٥١ - السيد زاكيوس )اليونان(: تكلم ممارسا حق الرد، فقال إن الجمهورية التركية لشمالي قبرص كيان انفصالي ندد به مجلس اﻷمن في قراراته وأن الحكومة الشرعية الوحيدة في هذا اﻹقليم هي جمهورية قبرص.

When referring to the so-called isolation of the Turkish Cypriots, the Turkish Cypriot leadership seems to prefer to be oblivious to the fact that the international community has taken measures against the purported state of the so-called " Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus " , but never against the Turkish Cypriot community.
وحينما تشير القيادة القبرصية التركية إلى ما يسمى بعزلة مفروضة على القبارصة الأتراك، يبدو أنها تنزع إلى تناسي حقيقة أن المجتمع الدولي اتخذ تدابير ضد الدولة المزعومة، " الجمهورية التركية لشمالي قبرص " ، وليس مطلقا ضد الطائفة القبرصية التركية.

It should be noted that what is erroneously described by them as " isolation " of the Turkish Cypriots is, in fact, nothing more than the consequence of the illegal Turkish military occupation of Northern Cyprus and the purported declaration of an " independent state " .
وينبغي أن يلاحظ أن ما يضعونه خطأ بـ " عزلة " القبارصة الأتراك لا يزيد في الواقع عن كونه مجرد أثر للاحتلال العسكري التركي غير القانوني لشمالي قبرص وللإعلان المزعوم عن دولة مستقلة " .

In fact, with resolutions 541 (1983) and 550 (1984), the Security Council considered the declaration which purported to create an independent state in Northern Cyprus as legally invalid, called for its withdrawal and called upon all States not to recognize the purported state of the " Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus " set up by secessionist acts, and not to facilitate or in any way assist the aforesaid entity.
فالواقع أن مجلس الأمن، بقراريه 541 (1983) و 550 (1984)، اعتبر الإعلان الذي زعم إنشاء دولة مستقلة في شمالي قبرص غير سليم قانونا، ودعا إلى سحبه وأهاب بجميع الدول ألا تعترف بدولة " الجمهورية التركية لشمالي قبرص " المزعومة، التي أقيمت بإجراءات انفصالية، وألا تسهل أو تساعد بأي شكل الكيان المذكور.

I should be grateful if the text of the present letter and its annex, which contains a letter from His Excellency Mr. Rauf R. Denktaş, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, dated 17 October 1996, sent to Mr. Glafcos Clerides, the leader of the Greek Cypriot Community, would be circulated as a document of the General Assembly, under agenda item 58, and of the Security Council.
وأكون ممتنا لو عممتم نص هذه الرسالة ومرفقها، الذي يتضمن رسالة مؤرخة ١٧ تشرين اﻷول/ أكتوبر ١٩٩٦ موجهة من فخامة السيد رؤوف ر. دنكتاش، رئيس الجمهورية التركية لشمالي قبرص إلى السيد غلافكوس كليريدس زعيم طائفة القبارصة اليونانيين، كوثيقة من وثائق الجمعية العامة في إطار البند ٥٨ من جدول اﻷعمال ومن وثائق مجلس اﻷمن.

I have the honour to enclose herewith the copy of a letter dated 17 October 1996 addressed by H.E. Rauf R. Denktaş, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, to Mr. Glafcos Clerides, the leader of the Greek Cypriot Community, in connection with the information received that a group of Greek Cypriots are planning new acts of provocation in the United Nations-controlled buffer zone in Cyprus.
